Beginner Armament and Observation Haki 1 Receives both through the system’s starter gift pack, raising his strength beyond that of an ordinary person.
Godzilla Fruit — First Generation power 1 Eats the system-provided Mythical Zoan Fruit, completely restores his exhausted stamina, and gains enhanced strength and a muscular physique.
Godzilla hybrid form 3 First displays a hybrid transformation with black scales, claws, sharp teeth, dorsal fins, and vertical pupils. His scales stop gunfire without Haki.
Second Generation Godzilla power 4 Earned by eliminating every enemy aboard the slave ship. Expands his power and available abilities, although its potential still requires training.

Background / History

Before transmigrating, Arthur had just watched a Godzilla film and then saved a little girl from an approaching truck. He subsequently awakened in the world of One Piece, occupying the body of a prince imprisoned aboard a Donquixote Family slave ship. The original prince’s memories revealed that the World Government had destroyed his North Blue homeland and that many fellow captives were its displaced citizens 1.

Arthur escaped after acquiring the Godzilla Fruit and beginner Haki from the Dimensional Infinite Evolution System. He freed the captives, killed the ship’s slave traders, and arranged for the vessel’s valuables to be sold and divided equally among the survivors so they could settle elsewhere 1 2 3 4 5.

Alfred then revealed that he had commanded King Noah’s secret guard and had been ordered to protect Arthur. Although Arthur initially offered him freedom from that duty, Alfred insisted on remaining. Arthur admitted his desire to restore the kingdom but ordered Alfred to keep it secret until they understood its destruction and possessed enough strength to oppose the World Government 5.

Appearance

  • Human form: Black-haired and 1.9 meters tall. Eating the Godzilla Fruit gives him a proportionate, sculpted muscular build rather than exaggerated bulk 1 22.
  • Partial transformation: Can manifest individual Godzilla traits, including scales, claws, and beastlike eyes, without transforming his entire body 1 2 6 11.
  • Hybrid form: Develops rough black scales, sharp claws and teeth, vertical pupils, and dorsal plates. During the mass battle, he grows to roughly 4–5 meters tall and takes on a dragonlike Godzilla face 3 22.
  • Tail control: Initially suppresses his tail to preserve agility, but later manifests and uses it in combat 6 22.
  • Energy buildup: His dorsal plates illuminate deep blue from bottom to top, while his eyes also glow blue 6.
  • Complete form: Takes the appearance of Second Generation Godzilla, matching his current evolutionary stage 18.

Personality

Arthur combines protection of civilians with uncompromising violence toward slave traders and predatory pirates. He frees his former subjects without demanding their continued service, distributes their captors’ wealth equally, and hopes they can live peacefully. He likewise values Alfred’s safety, instructing him to retreat if the fighting becomes unmanageable 4 5 12.

His hatred of piracy is rooted in its harm to ordinary people rather than allegiance to the Navy. He regards Luffy’s companions as adventurers rather than typical pirates and spares Drake because he recognizes him as a comparatively honorable undercover Marine. His ambitions nevertheless extend to eliminating piracy worldwide, including the Four Emperors 4 10 19.

Despite his growing confidence, Arthur takes precautions. He assesses the slave-ship pirates with Observation Haki before attacking, secretly tests Alfred’s loyalty, and postpones public plans to restore the kingdom. He also recognizes that his early North Blue dominance does not yet place him alongside the seas’ strongest figures 3 5 9 19.

Threats against bystanders are a decisive trigger for his anger. He initially intends to train quietly, but Diamante’s threats against Apple Town and the rescued refugees drive him into open conflict with the Donquixote Family 7 8.

Abilities & Skills

Dimensional Infinite Evolution System

The system provides mission-based rewards and a means of developing Godzilla’s power 1 4 18.

  • Grants the Godzilla Fruit, beginner Haki, Second Generation Godzilla power, Six Powers knowledge, and a Spatial Ring 1 4 15.
  • Can absorb an unused Devil Fruit’s energy to increase the development of Arthur’s Godzilla abilities 18.
  • Does not automatically grant complete mastery: Arthur must train both his Godzilla power and the Six Powers 4 15 19.

Godzilla Transformations and Physique

Arthur can use partial, hybrid, and complete transformations, with increasingly powerful physical enhancements 3 11 18.

  • Strength: Breaks restraints and bends cell bars; later crushes Drake’s rapiers barehanded and kills a Sea King with one swipe in complete form 2 11 19.
  • Natural durability: His transformed scales stop bullets, while his later untransformed body shatters four attacking swords 3 22.
  • Claws and tail: Tears through opponents with claws and produces a cutting attack with a tail sweep 22.
  • Electrical resistance: Takes Niji’s Electric Shock Fist without injury 23.
  • Seawater resistance: Tests his complete form in the sea and discovers that seawater does not weaken him. He consequently concludes that Seastone should not impose its usual weakening effect either, though no direct Seastone test is documented 19.

Armament and Observation Haki

Arthur begins with basic proficiency in both forms of Haki 1.

  • Layered defense: Recreates the structure of his Godzilla scales in Armament Haki rather than merely coating them. This defense blocks Diamante’s Half Moon Funeral without a wound or even a mark 6 14.
  • Presence sensing: Assesses opponents’ strength, tracks Jeffrey, and detects Diamante’s approach 3 10 13.
  • Attack prediction: Reads the path of Diamante’s erratic Snake Sword and dodges it 13.
  • Limited range: His early Observation Haki is insufficient to detect Diamante escaping the Atomic Lance explosion 15.

Atomic Energy Techniques

Arthur reshapes the energy behind Godzilla’s Radiation Heat Ray, also called Atomic Breath, into weapons and propulsion 6 7.

Technique Applications and limits
Atomic Light Sword A concentrated blue energy blade held using reinforced, double-layered scales. Functions as a melee weapon or an explosive thrown attack; Arthur can create it repeatedly without treating it as an all-out finishing move 6 11 14.
Atomic Lance A faster projectile derived from the sword. Severely wounds Diamante and later penetrates ships before detonating, allowing Arthur to destroy the fleeing pirate fleet 15 24 25.
Atomic Breath Full-power use becomes available with Godzilla Complete Form. It is described as vastly more powerful than the smaller swords and lances, but Arthur does not demonstrate a full-power discharge in the supplied events 18 19 25.
Palm propulsion Directs energy through both hands to fly. Requires reinforced hands and control of the resulting thrust 7.

Six Powers

Arthur learns all six techniques after receiving their knowledge from the system 15 19.

  • Finger Pistol: Adapts it into a ranged attack that kills the first pirates charging him during the North Blue confrontation 21.
  • Soru: Uses it to intercept Diamante’s retreat 24.
  • Proficiency limit: His initial three-day training establishes use of all six techniques, not advanced mastery 19.

Godzilla’s Gaze

Arthur’s transformed eyes project a terrifying ancient presence 1 11.

  • Frightens a slave-ship guard and subdues his beast strongly enough that it obeys Arthur’s order to kill its master 1.
  • Causes Drake to experience a vivid impression of a primeval world ruled by Godzilla 11.

Equipment / Weapons / Items

  • Spatial Ring: A mission reward with a capacity of 1,000 cubic meters. Arthur uses it to store captured warehouse supplies 15 17.
  • Captured supplies: Seizes weapons, medicine, and food valued at over one billion Beli from the Donquixote Family’s North Blue base 17.
  • Bruce: Acquires this black Skillful Grade Blade among the castle’s valuables, then gives it to Alfred because his own Atomic Light Sword is more useful to him 17 18.
  • Unidentified Devil Fruit: Initially offers it to Alfred; after Alfred refuses, has the system absorb it to unlock Godzilla Complete Form 18.

Relationships

  • King Noah — Father of Arthur’s original body and the late ruler of his kingdom. Secretly assigned Alfred to safeguard him before the kingdom’s destruction 5 9.
  • Alfred — Loyal guard, companion, and principal subordinate. Arthur initially offers him a peaceful retirement, later equips him with Bruce, and repeatedly shows concern for his safety 5 7 12 18 20.
  • Noah Kingdom survivors — Former subjects whom Arthur frees from slavery and provides with funds to begin independent lives 1 4 5.
  • Apple Town residents — Welcome and assist Arthur and Alfred. Their treatment by Donquixote pirates motivates Arthur to intervene and remove the threat posed by Diamante 7 8 9.
  • X Drake — Defeated opponent and prospective recruit. Arthur knows his undercover Navy identity, spares him, and hopes to recruit him for his future kingdom 10 11.
  • Diamante — Recurring enemy who threatens civilians, places a bounty on Arthur, and twice suffers defeat at his hands 8 15 24.
  • Doflamingo — Enemy whose North Blue operations Arthur disrupts. Responds by offering a regional underworld bounty for Arthur’s death 15 16 17.
  • Vinsmoke Yonji and Niji — Attack Arthur for his bounty and Doflamingo’s favor; Arthur tears an arm from each, forcing their retreat 23.
  • Golden Lion Shiki — Descends from a floating island to confront Arthur after the destruction of the pirate fleet; their encounter remains unresolved 25.

Story Role / Major Arcs

Apple Town and the Attack on Diamante

Arthur’s attempt to train quietly ends when Donquixote pirates terrorize Apple Town while searching for him. He rejects Diamante’s recruitment demand, kills the pirate leader, and declares that he will come for Diamante. The system then assigns him to destroy the family’s North Blue branch 6 7 8.

After defeating and sparing Drake en route, Arthur reaches the base. A lucky cannon shot detonates the harbor’s ammunition, destroying its dockside forces. He overwhelms Diamante with atomic weapons and completes the destruction mission, although Diamante escapes. Arthur and Alfred eliminate the remaining pirates while leaving civilians alive 10 11 12 14 15.

The North Blue Encirclement

Doflamingo’s bounty turns the captured base into a gathering point for hostile North Blue powers. Arthur accepts a new mission to unify the region and deliberately waits for its major forces to arrive, intending to defeat them together rather than pursue them individually 16 17 19.

Before the battle, Arthur sends Alfred and the castle’s other occupants into the basement. He confronts the attackers alone and warns them to leave. Hawkins withdraws after divination gives him no chance of surviving an attack on Arthur 20 21.

Arthur kills the initial attackers, defeats Mad Axe Jack, mutilates Yonji and Niji, and routs the remaining force. He intercepts Diamante and defeats him with one punch, then bombards fleeing pirate ships with Atomic Lances 21 22 23 24 25.

The battle is interrupted by Shiki’s arrival aboard a floating island. No completion of the North Blue conquest mission is documented before this encounter 25.

Underworld Bounties

Amount Issuer Circumstances
30 million Beli Diamante Posted through the black market after Arthur rejects recruitment and threatens him 8 9.
300 million Beli Doflamingo Issued after Arthur destroys and occupies the North Blue base; pirates and assassins can claim it 16 17.
600 million Beli Diamante Offered during the rout in an unsuccessful attempt to persuade the fleeing attackers to keep fighting 24.
  • These are Donquixote-issued rewards, not official Marine bounties. Marine observers explicitly note that Arthur has no World Government bounty during the fleet’s destruction 17 25.
