Lott built the beginnings of his crew, recruited Ling’er, Zoro, and Kuro, and drew the World Government’s attention by killing Celestial Dragons and fighting Kizaru. The crew reached Cocoyasi Village, where Lott gave Nami 100 million Beli to buy the village back from Arlong.

• Lott survived alone on an island, developed his Electromagnetic Fruit and combat skills, and began training young Luffy and Ace in Haki.
• Lott took Luffy and Ace aboard the Skybreaker, killed Joseph while rescuing a village, and recruited Ling’er after promising to protect her.
• Lott gave Ace the Gold-Gold Fruit, left Luffy and Ace behind, and recruited Zoro after meeting him in the East Blue.
• Lott and his crew attacked a World Government ship, killed Saint Williams and Lady Izerolan, rescued the slaves, and escaped after Lott fought Kizaru.
• The Marines issued Lott a 200-million-Beli bounty, and the crew sailed to Syrup Village, where Lott identified Kuro and recruited him.
• Lott gave Kuro the Peng-form Mythical Zoan Fruit and a Haki manual, while Usopp stayed behind to protect Kaya and wait for a future captain wearing a straw hat.
• At Cocoyasi Village, Lott and his crew learned that Arlong had occupied the village and that Nami planned to buy it back for 100 million Beli.
• Lott handed Nami the 100 million Beli, and she went to confront Arlong while Lott and his crew waited.

Lott gathered new allies, defeated Arlong and escaped a clash with Garp before leading his crew through Alabasta and Sky Island. He founded the Xia Kingdom in the sky and left Kuro in charge as he set sail toward the Blue Sea.

• Lott freed Nami from Arlong, defeated the Fish-Men, and welcomed Nami aboard the Skybreaker after she chose to join his crew.
• Lott and his companions fought Garp and the Marines at Loguetown, escaped aboard the Skybreaker, and entered the Grand Line through Reverse Mountain.
• Lott helped Laboon, then recruited Robin and Crocodile while learning from Alabasta’s Poneglyph that the Pluton Key was in Sabu.
• Lott brought rain to Alabasta and negotiated with Cobra before sailing to Sky Island, where he defeated Enel and persuaded him to join.
• Lott rang the Golden Bell, led the Shandians to the ruins of Shandora, and declared the war over as he established the Xia Kingdom.
• Lott appointed Kuro, Gan Fall, the Shandia chief, Enel, Wyper, and Robin to leadership roles and began plans to move Sky Island to the New World.
• Lott defeated Enel in a challenge, left Kuro in charge of Sky Island, and sailed to Bomentru Island with Nami, Enel, and Crocodile.

Lott built his crew and kingdom while rescuing Iceburg from CP9, then faced the Marines’ three Admirals at Enies Lobby. The arc left the battle still raging, with Lott’s crew fighting the Admirals and their officers across the ice.

• Lott defeated Kizaru, became known as the Fifth Emperor, and took his crew to Water 7, where he confronted Iceburg about the Pluton Blueprints and exposed CP9.
• Crocodile rescued Franky from CP9, and Lott gained Iceburg’s cooperation before Franky joined the crew as its chief engineer.
• Lott used Nami’s Cloud-Cloud Fruit to lift Jaya Island onto Sky Island, bringing both islands into the Xia Kingdom before sailing toward Water 7.
• Lott’s crew learned that the World Government had taken Iceburg to Enies Lobby, where they fought through the ambush and rescued him from Lucci and Spandam.
• Robin killed Spandam, and Lott refused Kizaru’s demand to hand her over before confronting Kizaru, Akainu, and Kuzan.
• Lott’s crew joined the battle against the three Admirals and their officers, with Kuro fighting Kizaru, Crocodile and Enel facing Kuzan, and Zoro and Ling’er fighting Gion and Tokikake.
• Lott repeatedly injured Akainu, while Nami battled Momonga and Franky fought Yamakaji as the clash at Enies Lobby continued.

Lott recruited Law, defeated Golden Lion, and brought Hancock and the Kuja toward his Sky Island kingdom while seeking cooperation with Rayleigh and the Revolutionary Army. The stretch ended with Law recounting how Shakky and Penguin died during Golden Lion’s attack, and Lott apologizing for their deaths.

• Lott’s crew reached Water 7, where he warned Iceburg that the World Government might target the city for Pluton, then left for Sabaody and drew attention from pirates and Marines after their escape from Enies Lobby.
• Lott traveled to the West Blue, killed Quiff Babuyer, and recruited Law after promising to help him avenge Corazon without making him betray his conscience.
• Lott and Nami caught the islands Golden Lion dropped, and Lott defeated him in a battle that shattered islands before lowering the falling land into uninhabited waters.
• Lott saved Amazon Lily from the waves, met Hancock, and removed the Celestial Dragon brand from her back with a Beauty Pill, and Hancock fell in love with him and agreed to visit his sky territory.
• Lott invited Hancock, Nyon, Sandersonia, and Marigold to join his cause, brought the Kuja ship to Sky Island, and announced that the Xia Kingdom would move to the New World and challenge the Four Emperors for territory.
• At Sabaody, Lott met Rayleigh and asked him to help with a future incident, then met Dragon, Sabo, and Koala and proposed cooperation against the World Government.
• Lott demonstrated his strength to Sabo and gave him a mysterious Zoan Devil Fruit, which Sabo ate and identified as the Mythical Zoan Bird-Bird Fruit, Three-Legged Golden Crow Form.
• Lott learned from Law that Shakky and Penguin had been badly wounded and sank beneath the sea during Golden Lion’s attack, and he apologized while Law blamed his own weakness.
