• Ning Tian caught up with Huo Yuhao and asked to discuss cooperation, so he assigned Gu Qiu'er to negotiate with her.

He promised not to use those methods in this world, then learned that Dai Yueheng had sent the assassins and agreed to give their leader a quick death if he identified him.

• Huo Yuhao gathered Electrolux, Gu Yuena, and the others in the prison and explained how living people were turned into wetware and Servitors.
• Electrolux and the others condemned the Imperium’s methods, so Huo Yuhao explained that Chaos had corrupted humanity’s artificial intelligence and fed on humanity’s hopes and virtues.
• Huo Yuhao promised that he would never use wetware or Servitors in this world and said Electrolux’s undead magic could replace those methods.
• The assassins’ leader revealed that Dai Yueheng, the eldest young master of the White Tiger Duke’s Mansion, had sent them.
• Huo Yuhao asked the leader to identify Dai Yueheng and agreed to grant him a quick death.

Huo Yuhao exposed Dai Yueheng as the mastermind behind the assassination attempt and secured his expulsion from Shrek Academy. Mu En learned that Huo Yuhao had killed Dai Huabin, while Huo Yuhao agreed to spare Dai Hao and Dai Luoli for now.

After a corpse explosion injured Tang Yin, Huo Yuhao killed the fleeing Death Messenger and Elder Song rushed Tang Yin back to Shrek Academy for treatment. In the Clear Sky Sect, Da Ming and Er Ming received Tang San’s order to bring Tang Yin to them as his intended successor.

• Elder Song shielded Tang Yin from the corpse explosion, but a corrosive fragment struck his crotch; Gu Ming and Xixi were also injured.
• The Death Messenger tried to seize Huo Yuhao as a hostage, but ran into Huo Yuhao’s sword and died.
