Klee's sweet, cheerful humming filled the path down Dragonspine. The adorable sight brought unconscious smiles to the faces of Yucheng and Shenhe as they followed behind her.
Who could dislike such an adorable little angel?
Yucheng was already glancing at Shenhe's belly from time to time, wondering whether she could give him such an adorable daughter. Shenhe noticed his invasive gaze too and shyly ducked her head, trying to hide the blush on her face.
On the way down, they inevitably encountered a few Hilichurl monsters that did not know better than to get in their way. Seeing them, Shenhe was just about to step forward and help Klee clear them out.
But Klee's first reaction upon seeing the Hilichurls was not fear. Instead, she ran toward them with even greater excitement, deftly pulling a Jumpy Dumpty she had developed herself out of her backpack as she ran.
Every so often, she uttered words that were cute yet terrifying: "Heave-ho... Jumpy Dumpty... bounce away... Jumpy Dumpty... full firepower!"
After a series of deafening cracks and booms, every monster that had foolishly blocked their path was gone. Even their fragments had been reduced to dust, leaving Yucheng and Shenhe staring in shock.
This... how was she a little angel? She was a little devil, wasn't she?
There was no denying that Klee's Pyro Vision proved immensely useful on Dragonspine. Her tremendously powerful Jumpy Dumpty was remarkably effective against the Snow Mountain's Cryo monsters, not only breaking their shields quickly but also dealing considerable damage through the Melt elemental reaction.
