Yucheng hurried forward and covered Ningguang's little mouth, stopping her from saying the species name that might send Azhdaha into a frenzy.
Unfortunately, although Yucheng had stopped Ningguang, he could not stop the blunt, outspoken Keqing beside her.
Keqing said in surprise, "Yucheng, where did you pick up that puppy? Huh, it's kind of ugly, too."
Yucheng immediately knew things were going wrong. Sure enough, the next moment, Azhdaha felt deeply insulted in his arms. He, a dignified Geo Dragon King, had actually been called a dog, and an ugly one at that. This was simply too much for any dragon to bear.
Azhdaha opened his great mouth and clamored loudly at Keqing. Afraid he would start speaking human language the next moment, Yucheng hurriedly clamped his mouth shut. Azhdaha thrashed wildly in Yucheng's arms, and things became rather awkward.
It had taken all his powers of persuasion to get Azhdaha to assume this super-miniature form. Looks really did have something to do with size, though. With a body as massive as a mountain, even someone who looked like Peppa Pig would radiate imposing power. But shrunk down to the size of a PAW Patrol pup, all anyone could say was that the little thing looked rather dainty.
That was exactly how Azhdaha looked now. His miniature figure and ugly-cute appearance gave him something of a French Bulldog look. Ningguang, however, with her exceptionally discerning eye, could tell at a glance that the little fellow in Yucheng's arms was anything but ordinary.
After finally calming Azhdaha down, Yucheng smiled at Ningguang. "You haven't been able to leave the Jade Chamber lately, so I thought I'd find something to keep you entertained. I happened to buy him.
