The instant Kurourushi sensed the threat of death, countless swarms of insects poured out, sweeping toward Yue Liusi.
The swarms gathered into two enormous tornadoes in midair, charging at him fearlessly like electric drills!
Meanwhile, Kurourushi had already seized the opportunity to flee!
Cursed spirits were not very intelligent, but they were not idiots either.
Unfortunately, Yue Liusi would not give it any chance.
Before Kurourushi could get far, a figure suddenly flashed in front of it, blocking the sunlight, his face shrouded in shadow.
Yue Liusi smiled faintly.
"Little bug, where do you think you're going?"
His slender fingers lightly touched the top of Kurourushi's head. Its body instantly stiffened, leaving it helpless as that immense positive energy flooded into it.
An invisible barrier blocked the splattering blood, and Kurourushi was gone forever.
Along with it went the enormous swarms it had summoned.
Behind him, Ryu Ishigori watched Yue Liusi emerge from the ashes filling the air and could not help gritting his teeth, his body tensing in readiness.
"This guy... isn't he way too cool?!"
"Again."
Yue Liusi exhaled softly. Chakra surged rapidly, and a hundred-meter-long giant sword formed in the sky before hurtling down!
"You've got to be kidding! Is that the Construction Technique?"
Ryu Ishigori's eyes widened as he stared at the giant sword descending from the sky, his face full of shock. There seemed to have been users of the Construction Technique in his era too, but none had been anywhere near this outrageous, had they?
With no time to think, he rapidly charged a Granite Blast. Cursed energy poured frantically out of his body, erupting with a thunderous roar when it reached its peak!
The blast struck the sword's tip head-on. Their violent collision produced rolling booms, but the giant sword continued slowly descending, splitting the blast into several streams that sprayed in all directions.
Fortunately, it had indeed slowed down.
And on closer inspection, tiny cracks could already be seen at the very tip of the giant sword where the blast had struck.
After all, with a construct this large, Yue Liusi could hardly make the entire thing as strong as a powerful cursed tool. That would simply be wasteful.
Watching Ryu Ishigori struggle below, Yue Liusi found it rather novel. Using the Construction Technique made him feel as though he were playing an immortal cultivation game.
Or rather, if he wanted to, he could fight in any style at all. That was what made the Construction Technique so unreasonable.
What was the Construction Technique's greatest drawback?
Its unparalleled consumption compared with other techniques.
What was his greatest advantage right now?
Sheer reserves!
But there was no need to keep practicing now.
"Ryu Ishigori, give it everything you have."
Yue Liusi spoke.
The giant sword shattered. Amid the flying fragments, Ryu Ishigori looked at Yue Liusi, his lips curving into a toothy grin.
"Okay!"
Without hesitation, he unleashed his strongest move!
"Domain Expansion!"
A pitch-black shell enclosed Yue Liusi, but there was no sign of a domain clash. Just as Uro Takako was hesitating over whether to help, a crisp shattering sound rang out.
Ryu Ishigori's domain shattered.
He fell straight out of the sky and slammed heavily into the rubble.
Yue Liusi descended from the sky as well.
Ryu Ishigori had just pushed his cursed energy output to its limit, allowing him to fire miniature Granite Blasts from all over his body within his domain and thereby enhancing his taijutsu to a truly terrifying degree.
And his physical strength alone was certainly among the best.
But there was still an enormous gap between him and Yue Liusi.
After all, Naruto was someone who could trade blows with the Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack using his physical body. Though Yue Liusi's current setup was somewhat inferior, his opponent was far more inferior.
Just as Yue Liusi was about to say something, he sensed something. The ends of his brows lifted slightly, and then his lips curved upward.
"Ryu Ishigori has already agreed to submit. You two, stand by here."
He looked at Uro Takako and gave her that instruction, then left the Sendai Colony without lingering.
Uro Takako and Ryu Ishigori, who sat slumped on the ground, were left staring at each other.
Tokyo No. 2 Colony.
Shoko held the necklace at her chest in one hand and smiled knowingly at the person who appeared before her.
"Was it that obvious?"
Yue Liusi could not help asking curiously.
Shoko's eyes curved slightly, her tone teasing.
"You're an idiot. I'm not."
"We've pretty much gathered everyone in the No. 2 Colony."
She raised a hand and pointed below Tokyo Skytree. The survivors had almost all gathered, and it was time to evacuate.
"Thank you."
Yue Liusi nodded. At his words, Shoko gave him an inscrutable look.
"Fine, I won't say it next time."
Yue Liusi shrugged and spoke helplessly.
It was simply an unconscious habit of his.
"Oh, you..."
Shoko shook her head, then looked at the figure in the distance.
"By the way, what are you going to do with that guy?"
Naturally, she meant Hajime Kashimo.
"What's the problem? It's no trouble."
Yue Liusi strode straight out of Tokyo Skytree. Golden chakra appeared as he activated Chakra Mode.
He raised his hand, and Fox Demon Arms appeared, rapidly expanding into a huge dome that covered everyone on the ground.
Before the people below could react, they found themselves enclosed and grew somewhat panicked. Yue Liusi did not stop, taking everyone away at once.
The barrier's restraints could not stop the Flying Thunder God Technique.
Arriving at the prearranged location outside, Yue Liusi set everyone down in an open area.
Someone had already been waiting here for a long time.
"Yue, is this the first group?"
Yuta Okkotsu asked, his long sword strapped to his back.
Even before the Culling Game began, Yue Liusi had told him to consolidate Jujutsu Society's forces and then coordinate with the authorities to receive the survivors.
"I'll leave these people to you."
"Don't worry."
Yuta Okkotsu nodded solemnly.
Yue Liusi returned to Tokyo No. 2 Colony.
"Kogane, help me establish new rules. Make every player's location visible, and distinguish good from evil based on morality and the law."
After returning from the Sendai Colony, he had more than two hundred points. Most had been transferred to him by Uro Takako and Ryu Ishigori, while the rest had been picked up along the way.
Following Yue Liusi's instructions, Kogane spent 200 points directly and established two new rules.
After all, Yue Liusi's requests complied with the principles of a battle royale game.
In an instant, more than a dozen pillars of light rose throughout Tokyo No. 2 Colony. Most were blackish purple, and one or two had even turned pure black.
These marked their locations, visible to everyone like moving light sources in the night.
"That makes things much easier."
Yue Liusi nodded in satisfaction, then activated the Construction Technique. Golden chakra condensed into sharp, elongated spindles in the air, which shot toward the dark-colored pillars of light.
