No prebattle declaration at all? He was going straight into action?

Hajime Kashimo roared. Just as he was about to strike the fox tail with his cursed technique, he realized that the golden fox tail was already right in front of him.

He had no time to react before the golden fox tail struck his body.
The lightning surrounding him instantly scattered, and Hajime Kashimo's pupils contracted.
