On the way, the more Shiroi thought about it, the more something seemed wrong.
He kept feeling that something was off.
Why had Minato Namikaze and the Uchiha appeared separately?
If they had attacked the escort unit together, their chances of capturing the Eight-Tails would have increased greatly.
As things stood, capturing the Eight-Tails had become less easy instead.
Logically, as the strongest village in the Shinobi World, Konoha probably would not have made such a muddled decision.
Then there was only one explanation.
Konoha's target had never been the Eight-Tails!
After a moment's thought, Shiroi immediately figured out Konoha's plan.
Their plan was exactly the same as Lord Dodai's plan to attack the Uchiha: both used Lure the Tiger Away from the Mountain to draw away the main force.
And their target was already obvious: Kumogakure's main camp.
Their target was Dodai!
Once he understood this, Shiroi immediately led his men back.
When he reached the Kumogakure camp, devastation met his eyes, and Dodai's charred body lay in a large crater.
Shiroi hurried forward, lifted Dodai up, and shouted to those around him, "Medical team! Medical team!"
Dodai reached out, pressed a hand to his shoulder, coughed up a mouthful of blood, and said with difficulty, "Shiroi, you must kill that Uchiha brat..."
With that, Dodai's head lolled to one side, and he died.
Meanwhile, Yūto and the other two were fleeing back to the Konoha Camp.
Yūto was a little disappointed. He had thought he might return to Blue Star when he opened his eyes again.
Instead, when he opened his eyes, he saw Tsunade's pale face.
After confirming that Dodai was beyond saving, he immediately fled with the two women.
In the woods, Yūto looked at Tsunade, who was now completely incapacitated, and felt utterly helpless.
Lady, if your hemophobia was this bad, why did you insist on coming along?
Looking at the weakened Tsunade, Tsukimi could not quite bear it and said, "Yūto, let me carry Lady Tsunade."
Yūto was just about to hand Tsunade over to Tsukimi when he suddenly remembered his plan to get himself killed.
Now that he had avenged the Elder, the lure of Blue Star once again gained the upper hand in Yūto's mind.
Without betraying anything, he told Tsukimi, "It's fine. I can carry Lady Tsunade."
Tsukimi thought nothing of it and let Yūto carry Tsunade on his back as the three continued on their way.
Yūto quietly fell half a step behind Tsukimi and whispered to Tsunade on his back, "Lady Tsunade, so soft. I really like it..."
Tsunade's almond-shaped eyes widened, and a flush crept onto her pale face as she stared at the boy before her in disbelief.
Wasn't this brat supposed to be loyal and caring, someone who loved his village and his comrades?
How was he a closet pervert too?
This was bad. Her hemophobia had left her weak, and she could not resist at all!
Seeing Tsunade's embarrassed face, Yūto felt a flicker of reluctance.
Tsunade had only just helped him get revenge. Doing something like this now made him worse than a beast!
But for the sake of Blue Star, he had no choice but to go against his conscience!
He took a deep breath and silently made up his mind: before Tsunade beat him to death, he would make a will leaving all his assets to her!
"Lady Tsunade, I'm sorry!"
With that, chakra instantly coated Yūto's hands as he worked to clear the meridians in Tsunade's thighs, expelling any lactic acid that might be present.
As the First's granddaughter, the Third's student, and one of the legendary Sannin, when had Tsunade ever been treated like this?
Blood instantly rushed to her face, turning it frighteningly red.
"Brat, I'm going to kill you..."
Tsunade's warning was rather weak and feeble, but that was exactly what Yūto wanted, and he put even more effort into it.
After the three returned to the Konoha Camp, Yūto carefully settled Tsunade, who was suffering an episode of hemophobia, inside the Medical Tent.
"Tsukimi, please take care of Lady Tsunade," Yūto said softly.
Tsukimi nodded solemnly. "Don't worry. I'll take good care of Lady Tsunade."
Leaving the tent, Yūto went to sit quietly beneath the shade of a tree at the edge of camp. It was cooler there.
He gazed toward the distant battlefield, waiting for Tsunade to recover and give him a quick death.
Before long, Minato returned with news of victory. With a flash of Flying Thunder God, he appeared directly in front of Yūto.
"The plan was a great success. Dodai acted exactly as you predicted." Minato smiled and patted Yūto's shoulder. "Your strategy made all the difference this time."
Fugaku also walked over slowly, approval in his eyes. "It was indeed an ingenious setup. Even Kumogakure's strategist fell for it."
Just then, a sudden commotion came from the Medical Tent.
Tsunade stormed out, with Tsukimi hurrying anxiously after her. "Lady Tsunade! Please wait!"
But Tsukimi's attempts to stop her had no effect.
Tsunade flashed in front of Yūto in an instant and roared, "Die!"
A powerful Heavenly Foot of Pain came straight at Yūto's face.
At the critical moment, Minato activated Flying Thunder God and took Yūto out of danger.
"Lady Tsunade! What's going on?" Minato stood in front of Yūto, his face full of confusion.
Fugaku also stepped forward with a frown. "Why are you suddenly attacking someone who has rendered meritorious service?"
Tsunade's face flushed red, her fists clenched, and she stammered without managing to get any words out.
Finally, under everyone's puzzled gazes, she stamped her foot in embarrassed anger. "This bastard... on the way... he actually..."
The words reached her lips, only to be swallowed again. Clearly, there was a reason she found difficult to voice.
Yūto looked at Minato and Fugaku and said gravely, "Please leave us for a moment. I need to speak with Lady Tsunade alone."
Minato's brow furrowed slightly, and a trace of doubt flashed through Fugaku's eyes, but in the end, both nodded and left.
Only the two of them remained beneath the tree.
Tsunade clenched her fists and fixed Yūto with a sharp stare. "Brat, what trick are you trying to pull?"
But when she noticed the bandages wrapped around Yūto's body, her heart suddenly tightened.
The placement of those wounds... it was too deliberate.
If she attacked, Yūto could tear his wounds open at any moment and trigger her hemophobia!
"You..."
Tsunade narrowed her eyes and studied Yūto closely.
This was the most secluded corner of the camp, with no one around. She suddenly realized something, and her expression changed sharply. "You deliberately chose this place because you want to..."
The faintest hint of a smile curled at the corners of Yūto's mouth, and his fingers brushed absently over his bandages.
Tsunade's heartbeat suddenly quickened. She knew all too well what that gesture meant.
This lunatic actually intended to tear his wounds open and use the blood to trigger her hemophobia!
"Do you think this will let you get your way?" Tsunade forced herself to stay composed, but she unconsciously took half a step back.
She quickly scanned her surroundings, searching for a possible escape route.
This crafty brat definitely had something else up his sleeve!
Yūto looked at Tsunade in confusion. Why had she still not attacked?
The thought that he would soon be able to return to Blue Star had almost made him laugh just now.
Hurry up and attack, Lady Tsunade! I can't dodge your attacks!
If you keep waiting, my wounds are itching so much I won't be able to stop myself from scratching!
Before you continue
