After leaving the Bounty Station, Sōkyū Hatake ran straight in the direction the black-robed man had indicated without a moment's hesitation.
Executioner's Cliff.
It was about five kilometers from Higuma Town, and the place where Rasa's gold dust had been found was about ten kilometers south of Executioner's Cliff.
"There really are a few people following me who aren't afraid to die." Sōkyū Hatake activated his God's-eye View. Six people were following him, and judging by their positions, they probably belonged to three separate groups.
They had made no contact with one another and were instead somewhat wary of each other.
Upon reaching Executioner's Cliff, Sōkyū Hatake stood with his hands behind his back and looked in the direction of his pursuers.
"Since you've all followed me out here, you might as well come out and meet me." Sōkyū Hatake casually picked a rock and sat down on it.
However, no one appeared ahead of him. They were all betting that Sōkyū Hatake hadn't actually detected all of them and was only bluffing.
"I paid for this information. Are you hiding back there and following me because you want it for free?" Seeing that they wouldn't come out, Sōkyū Hatake narrowed his eyes, and a sense of pressure began emanating from him.
Still, no one appeared.
"Since none of you will come out, don't blame me for being rude. Lightning Descent!" Sōkyū Hatake smiled faintly. Six bolts of lightning appeared in an instant, immediately locking onto the six people.
Bzzzt!
A burst of lightning came down, striking all six of them.
However, Sōkyū Hatake hadn't struck to kill. He also wanted to see exactly who was following him.
"We're residents of Higuma Town. We were only gathering information." Two of them appeared first and immediately explained themselves to Sōkyū
