That night, after eating and drinking his fill, Sōkyū Hatake headed straight to the agreed meeting point.
By then, twelve people were already waiting there for Sōkyū Hatake.
"You're late!" Obito Uchiha said excitedly. This was the first time he had not been the last to arrive.
After all, given Obito Uchiha's habits, being late was normal.
"I just had dinner with Minato and the others, so I got here a little late," Sōkyū Hatake said outright.
"It wasn't just dinner, was it? I can smell alcohol on you," Kakashi Hatake said bluntly. He had already caught the strong smell of alcohol coming from Sōkyū Hatake.
"I did have a few drinks. Uchiha Fugaku and the others came over, after all." Sōkyū Hatake shrugged. This had been within his expectations.
"Clan Leader Fugaku came over?" Obito Uchiha asked curiously upon hearing Uchiha Fugaku's name.
"Yes, he did. All right, since everyone's here, let's head out." Sōkyū Hatake gave Obito Uchiha no further chance to speak. Instead, he went straight to the front of the group and began leading them toward Kannabi Bridge.
"Yes!" the twelve answered together. Then, before dawn broke, the group ran straight toward Kannabi Bridge.

"Sōkū, what do we do next?" Kakashi Hatake glanced around. It was still early.
"Place the explosive tags on Kannabi Bridge first, but be careful. There are some Iwa shinobi patrolling there." Sōkyū Hatake activated his God's-eye View. Several red dots were patrolling the surrounding area.
