The Sky Screen binds the original Douluo Continent to a process called Civilization Acceleration, allowing its inhabitants to examine two timelines ten thousand years in the future 1.

• Announced deadline: The original world will collapse in one hundred days 1.
• Final selection rule: Everyone must enter the same timeline; the minority must follow the majority 1.

Observer Transportation

Selected observers physically enter a future world, experience it, and are subsequently returned to their original era 2 7.

• The first selected observers are Ning Rongrong, Tang San, and Bibi Dong. Each initially chooses a destination individually 2.

Observer Protection

The Sky Screen prohibits observers from harming one another or fighting privately 20 54 58.

• When Qian Daoliu and Bibi Dong exchange attacks, their released Soul Power vanishes before the clash can occur 54.
• The intervention is accompanied by the notification: “Observers of the heavens are forbidden from fighting privately” 54.
• This is not universal protection from local inhabitants: Bibi Dong is captured by the Human Emperor World’s guards during her first visit 5.

Resistance to Divine Attacks

Sea God Tang San cannot damage or properly perceive the Sky Screen’s substance 26.

Initial Observation

The Sky Screen’s arrival throws Douluo Continent into panic by announcing the world’s impending collapse. Yu Xiaogang initially dismisses it as an illusion produced by a Titled Douluo, but the subsequent transportation of observers demonstrates that it is more than a visual display 1 2.

Ning Rongrong’s broadcast reveals her divine counterpart and the future Nine Treasures Glazed Tile Sect. Tang San’s investigation separately reveals that the Shrek Seven Devils became gods in the Peerless Tang Sect timeline. These disclosures immediately influence sect leaders’ plans and prompt Spirit Hall to investigate Shrek 2 6.

Disclosure to the Future Worlds

Tang San tells Mu En that he comes from ten thousand years in the past and that his experiences are being watched live. Mu En agrees to help introduce the future world to the original continent 6.

The later appearance of public Sky Screens in both future worlds makes the situation impossible for their authorities to conceal. Sea God Tang San’s failed attempt to destroy the screen turns the phenomenon into a concern for the Divine Realm as well 25 26.

Cross-World Public Forum

Once messaging and video uploads become available, inhabitants no longer depend solely on selected observers to exchange information. The broadcasts expose Tang Chen’s identity as the King of Slaughter, while comments inform the future Xiao Wu of Tang San’s otherworldly origin 44 50 52.

The platform also becomes a venue for disputes over Shrek’s history, the subordinate clans’ treatment by Tang Hao and the Clear Sky Sect, and the Human Emperor World’s proposed invasion of Peerless Tang Sect 56 58 63.

Ji Xuanyuan’s Assimilation

Ji Xuanyuan identifies the Sky Screen as an outside presence within his domain. As the world’s will, he can sense, envelop, erode, and gradually absorb its source power 50 66.

He first completes this process inside the Small Divine Realm. After sealing the space against outside replenishment, he uses his world will and the Xuanyuan Sword to drain the local screen until it enters the sword entirely. He then restores its projection under his own control 67.

Limitations and Unresolved Mechanics

• Unknown source: Gu Yuena cannot fathom the origin of the power linking the planes 50.
• Local manifestations are distinct: Absorbing the Small Divine Realm’s screen does not grant Ji Xuanyuan control over the other worlds’ screens 58 67.
• Transportation can be exploited: Ji Xuanyuan binds Electrolux’s soul to Feng Xiaotian so that the observer’s return carries Electrolux into the past, explicitly intending to deceive the Sky Screen 15.
• Selection may follow a pattern: Ji Xuanyuan observes that selected areas tend to be famous or valuable and proposes the Upper Three Sects or Star Luo City as likely future targets. This remains a prediction 65.
• Causal continuity is not guaranteed: Ji Xuanyuan concludes that the past world and Peerless Tang Sect World lack a causal connection after observing Tang Chen lose his divine trial eligibility 51.
