Spirit Hall and the Qian Family

Bibi Dong was Qian Xunji's disciple before becoming Spirit Hall's Supreme Pontiff. Qian Xunji sexually assaulted her, and Qian Renxue was born as a result. Yu Xiaogang, her former lover, misunderstood their separation as a willing rejection of him; the Sky Screen's later disclosure reveals the suffering behind it 54 61.

As pope, she spent decades preparing for a continent-wide war and regarded the unification of Douluo Continent as her own ambition. Beneath her leadership of Spirit Hall, however, she harbored hatred toward the institution and privately vowed to destroy it 4 53.

First Observation of the Human Emperor World

When the Sky Screen announced that Douluo Continent would collapse in one hundred days, Bibi Dong dismissed the warning as a lie and ordered an investigation. Selected as one of the first three observers, she chose the Human Emperor Xuanyuan timeline without hesitation, concealing the Rakshasa God's aura as a reserve advantage 1 2.

The observation assigned her the identity of a divine maiden serving the Second Divine Envoy in Netherworld Hall. Her implanted memories included intimate service to the Human Emperor, provoking embarrassment and anger. After accepting that the future world was real, she set out to investigate the ruler who had achieved the continental dominion she wanted for herself 3 4.

At the Research Institute, she falsely claimed authority to enter and attempted to hypnotize the guards. Both were Titled Douluos, and their alarm brought dozens more. Mu En subdued her with a giant golden dragon claw and took her into custody 5.

Mu En and Long Xiaoyao then recognized her resemblance to the Second Divine Envoy. This unlocked memories revealing that the envoy was her own future counterpart. Bibi Dong rejected the prospect of serving another ruler and vowed to kill the Human Emperor 6.

Exposure and Departure from Spirit Hall

During a later stay in the Human Emperor World, Qian Daoliu mistook Bibi Dong's divine connection for devotion to the Angel God. He acknowledged Qian Xunji's wrongdoing and offered her a chance at the Angel God's inheritance, but the offer revived her resentment rather than winning her over 52 53.

A Sky Screen video exposed her Rakshasa allegiance and showed her inheriting that god's position in the Peerless Tang Sect history. Qian Daoliu attacked her, but the prohibition against private fighting dissolved both his attack and her defense. Further footage publicly revealed Qian Xunji's assault and Qian Renxue's parentage 53 54.

Bibi Dong refused to return to Spirit Hall. Faced with continued confinement because of her divine connection, she relinquished the Rakshasa inheritance, released her Level 99 strength, and left with Long Xiaoyao's permission 54 55 56.

Agreement with Ji Xuanyuan

Before leaving her old connections behind, Bibi Dong sought out Qian Renxue and questioned her determination to inherit the Angel Godhood. Neither admitted her concern for the other, and Bibi Dong left after her daughter refused to abandon her faith 57 58.

Ji Xuanyuan subsequently offered her renewed access to Rakshasa godhood in exchange for infiltrating the Peerless Tang Sect world and assisting a future invasion. She accepted immediately, preferring the possibility of ruling there to living under the Human Emperor World's restrictions. Privately, she also considered defecting to the Divine Realm if necessary; her acceptance was not unconditional loyalty 58.

Ji Xuanyuan then declared that her remaining obstacles to godhood had been cleared. She thanked him and publicly promised to serve the Human Emperor Empire 59.

Bibi Dong is proud, ambitious, and resistant to subordination. She initially treats the Human Emperor's unified continent as the theft of a future empire that should have belonged to her. Even learning that her future self serves him does not persuade her to accept that outcome 4 6.

Her decisions are also pragmatic and decisive. She abandons an inheritance that has brought her close to godhood rather than accept confinement, then takes Ji Xuanyuan's offer when it presents a more advantageous route forward. She privately preserves the option of changing sides again 55 58.

Her coldness toward Qian Renxue conceals unresolved concern. She makes a special trip to see her daughter and worries about the consequences of her Angel God faith, but is too proud to acknowledge that worry openly. Their conversation ends without reconciliation 58.
