History

Slaughter City and Asura God's Mark

Tang Hao left Slaughter City at the age of twenty-eight after acquiring the Slaughter God Domain. The domain is associated with qualification for the Asura God's trials, and Tang Hao is believed to carry traces of the god's divine sense. 6

Clear Sky Sect Heir

After reaching Rank 70, Tang Hao returned to the Clear Sky Sect and was designated as the next Sect Leader's successor. He was permitted to leave the sect with Tang Xiao for further training. 437

During their travels, Tang Hao and Tang Xiao encountered the Golden Chrysanthemum Emperor, a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast living in human form. Tang Hao fell in love with her, confessed, and continued traveling with her even after learning her identity. When a Spirit Hall elder detected her soul beast aura, Tang Hao attacked the elder to prevent her exposure and fled with her. 440

Tang Wei's death and Tang Hao's relationship with a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast led to his expulsion from the Clear Sky Sect. Tang Hao blamed Spirit Hall for his father's death, vowed revenge, and went into hiding with the Golden Chrysanthemum Emperor. The pair secretly married, settled in a remote village, and had a child identified as a Child of Destiny. 442

When Qian Xunji led Spirit Hall forces to confront the family, Tang Hao used the Clear Sky Nine Perfections to repel him briefly before fleeing with his wife. His fury later unleashed Divine Slaughter's Domain, drawing the attention of the Asura God. 443 444

Tang San's Protector and Mentor

Tang Hao protected Tang San following the destruction of their home, carrying the severely injured child from the rubble and seeking immediate treatment. 7

He later guided Tang San's cultivation directly. He accepted the Poison Attribute imposed on Tang San's first martial soul, intending for Tang San to prioritize the Clear Sky Hammer in the future and eventually obtain the Slaughter God Domain. 458

Tang Hao arranged Tang San's fifth soul ring and attempted to guide him toward a bloodline connection with the Blue Silver Emperor. 253 He also persuaded Tang San to cultivate his chrysanthemum martial soul first as a foundation for a stronger Clear Sky Hammer, then gave him a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Bone and taught him the Clear Sky Nine Perfections. 485 490

Conflict with Long Ying Tian

Tang Hao secretly infiltrated Long Ying Tian's Heaven Dou Royal Academy residence in search of Heavenly Materials and Earthly Treasures. Zhu Wu's defensive technique exposed him through a giant silver eye and struck him with Mental Shock, forcing him to flee from Dugu Bo's pursuit. 139 140

During the Soul Master Competition, he refrained from attacking Long Ying Tian openly because doing so would make enemies of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, the Heaven Dou Imperial Family, Spirit Hall, and the Illusory Beast Sect simultaneously. 205

He later attacked Long Ying Tian at the Papal Hall, detonating his first four soul rings to increase his power. After knocking Xiao Wu unconscious and taking her hostage, he escaped by detonating his eighth soul ring to outrun Sword Douluo. 225

Later Conduct

Tang Hao repeatedly struggled with resentment toward Dragon God Douluo, whose strength far exceeded his expectations. After witnessing Zhu Wu's god-level combat methods, he was left questioning whether he could ever reach the same height. 407 427

He participated in the campaign against Fallen Soul Masters but remained frustrated by Dragon God Douluo's ability to locate and eliminate powerful targets across the continent. Tang Xiao repeatedly cautioned him against publicly criticizing Zhu Wu. 408

At Spirit City, Tang Hao attempted to seize Dragon God Douluo by the throat after being provoked. Tang Chen publicly apologized for his impulsiveness and later disciplined him for his careless words and rash conduct. 393 394 403

Tang Hao eventually appeared during the Soul Master Competition finals to rescue Tang San after Bai Yi severely injured him. He agreed to Qian Renxue's condition that he could leave with Tang San and Xiao Wu only if he defeated her. 494

Personality

Tang Hao is fiercely protective of Tang San and repeatedly risks his own safety to intervene when his son is threatened. His protection can become extreme: he seeks rare treasures for Tang San, attacks Long Ying Tian over Tang San's injuries, and confronts Qian Renxue in Spirit City to save Tang San and Xiao Wu. 139 225 494

He is impulsive, prideful, and quick to anger. Tang Chen, Tang Wei, and Tang Xiao each reprimand him for speaking carelessly or acting without considering the consequences for the Clear Sky Sect. 402 403 408 411

Despite these flaws, Tang Hao can restrain himself when he recognizes that action would endanger his family or sect. He withdrew rather than attack Long Ying Tian publicly at the Grand Training Field, understanding that the resulting enemies would be too numerous. 205 His experiences with the Golden Chrysanthemum Emperor and their child also make him more responsible as a husband and father. 442
