Arc 12The Road to Chaoge
Jing Jiu confronted the growing conflict around Liu S sui and sent him to Fruitful Accomplishment Temple to resolve his clashing auras. Unable to repair his own stalled cultivation, Jing Jiu traveled to Chaoge City, where he met the emperor and then sought the Little Imperial Prince.
- Bai Zao visited Divine End Peak and explained that she had spread the marriage rumor to avoid becoming Tong Yan’s dao companion and to ease pressure on Jing Jiu, who again refused the idea.
- Fang Jingtian’s move against Liu S sui led Green Mountain to convene a summit, where Jian Ruyun accused Liu S sui of involvement in Zuo Yi’s death and Chi Yan ordered him imprisoned pending investigation.
- Green Mountain expelled Little Lotus, so Gu Qing escorted her to Yunji Town, while Jing Jiu entered the Sword Prison, freed Liu S sui, and sent him to Fruitful Accomplishment Temple with a letter.
- At the temple, Liu S sui studied the True Scripture with help from Yin San, who disguised himself as Yin Fu, while Little Lotus stayed with him and the pair marked the New Year together.
- Jing Jiu spent a hundred days trying to solve his cultivation problem but could not make the Iron Sword merge with his Sword Pellet, so he decided to seek help from the Nether Department in Chaoge City.
- Jing Jiu arrived in Chaoge with the white cat, visited Jing Shang, and heard Lu Ming describe the competing political ties among Jing Xin, the Zhongzhou Sect, One-Thatch Studio, and the Zhao Household.
- The Duke of Lu escorted Jing Jiu to the Imperial Study, where Jing Jiu met privately with the emperor and afterward asked to see the Little Imperial Prince.
