White True Person opened the Netherworld to the sea, and Jing Jiu defeated her before helping contain the flood. He then fell unconscious, and Zhao Layue and the others gathered around him while searching for a way to wake him.

• Jing Jiu sent Ping Yongjia to launch him across the East Sea, where he destroyed the Heavenly Access Killing Formation and entered the flooded Netherworld.
• Jing Jiu killed the High Priest, crippled the Nether Master, and raised a mountain range to delay the flood while he searched for White True Person.
• Jing Jiu found White True Person at Fruitful Accomplishment Temple, and they fought after discussing their world, True Person Taiping, and their reasons for staying.
• Jing Jiu defeated White True Person, then used a sword net and Heavenly Silkworm Silk to slow the seawater at the Great Whirlpool before collapsing.
• The Giant, Bu Qiuxiao, cultivators, and Netherworld survivors helped block the flood, which formed Hulun Lake, while Zhao Layue carried the unconscious Jing Jiu away for treatment.
• Zhao Layue brought Jing Jiu to Three Thousand Courtyard, where Xilai said that making Jing Jiu sense imminent death might awaken him, but she chose to wait.
• Zhao Layue and the gathered cultivators stayed beside Jing Jiu as Ping Yongjia feared he might take over Jing Jiu’s body, and the Zen Child found Jing Jiu’s Divine Soul asleep.
• Lu Jin gave Zhao Layue a black token whose map showed a point near Green Mountain, and Liu S sui recognized the place from his childhood.

Jing Jiu severed the ties sustaining his Dao body, ascended from Chaotian, and crossed the universe to destroy an Outsider Heavenly Demon. He awoke in the Galaxy Human Alliance, where he began learning its language and sciences with Zhong Lizi’s help.

• Nan Wang burned Jingyang’s remains, and Jing Jiu woke the sleeping world before defeating Xilai and sparing him to teach Liu S sui the Tide-Coming Sword.
• Jing Jiu reunited with his disciples, visited Cao Yuan and the Fire Carp King, and prepared to ascend with Zhao Layue at Green Mountain.
• Jing Jiu told Cao Yuan and Su Ziye the stories behind their pasts, then explained that he would abandon the causes and effects sustaining his current self.
• Jing Jiu left his Dao Body behind and ascended through the Thunderstorm Vortex, reaching a cold world beyond Chaotian.
• Jing Jiu followed Snow Ji’s traces into space, found dead Outsider Heavenly Demons, and destroyed a living one near a red star, leaving himself badly injured.

Jing Jiu studied the Galaxy Alliance, searched for his identity and the person behind an assassination attempt, and helped Zhong Lizi earn a place at Star Gate University. He found the star of Chaotian Continent and promised Zhong Lizi he could cure her illness, while the mystery of the Ascension Ones and the Butterfly organization remained open.

• Jing Jiu studied mathematics and science, wrote Great Dao Toward Heaven to attract ascended cultivators, and told Zhong Lizi he wanted to know who he was.
• Jing Jiu enrolled as an auditor at New Era Academy, absorbed its library data, and discovered that the Galaxy Alliance and Chaotian Continent shared an ancient civilization.
• Jing Jiu explored the Hidden Web, encountered Wild Hare, and asked the Cloud Ghosts questions they could not answer.
• Jing Jiu secretly stabilized Zhong Lizi’s leukemia and helped her reach the sixth level of the Observing Fire Realm, but the academy initially gave her exchange-student place to someone else.
• Gao Shu pressured the academy to restore Zhong Lizi’s place, and Jing Jiu urged her to accept Xuan Yu Company’s game offer before carrying her home after she drank too much.
• After Zhong Lizi left for Star Gate University, Jing Jiu crossed the Magnetic Barrier, found an ancient mecha in the Star Gate Museum, and gave her a protective wooden carving.
• Jing Jiu stopped an assassin’s high-incendiary bullet, searched the assassin’s mind, and investigated the attempt before concluding an Ascension One had issued a warning.
• Jing Jiu learned that Chen Xin might be tied to the Butterfly organization, located Chaotian Continent’s star near Ma 31, and promised Zhong Lizi he had medicine for her illness.

Jing Jiu helped Zhong Lizi recover, become Priestess, and survive an attack on the Sacrificial Hall while he pursued those behind it. As Zhong Lizi and the Bishops departed for the Capital Planet, Jing Jiu prepared to take control of their warship and Xilai arrived at Linden.

• After Zhong Lizi’s medical tests showed her illness was gone, Jing Jiu searched the bishop’s memories and learned that a hidden voice believed he might be the new god.
• Jing Jiu and Zhong Lizi visited the surface campus, where Thunder God activated when his ring glowed, and he later met the Priestess, who recognized him as the awaited god.
• Jiang Yuxia explained her family’s motives to Zhong Lizi, while Jing Jiu warned Zhong Lizi that becoming Priestess would be difficult and would prevent her from having children.
• With Jing Jiu’s help, Zhong Lizi studied for the October Water Ritual and passed the selection trials, including a drinking test, until the Priestess named her successor.
• Jing Jiu left the Sacrificial Hall with Zhong Lizi, killed the Mo Household Head and other attackers, then vanished as a warship attacked the sanctuary, and he later returned alive.
• Ran Handong and Tanggu investigated the Blazing Sun’s attack, and Jing Jiu found and killed Fang Xiang, then questioned and destroyed his nascent soul.
• Jing Jiu restored some of the Priestess’s vitality, searched the Starfield Network, and entered a Game Pod as Jingyang, while Zhong Lizi watched his journey and prepared to leave for the Capital Planet.
• The Blazing Sun departed for the Capital Planet with Zhong Lizi, Jiang Yuxia, and the Bishops aboard, while Jing Jiu obtained Military Command access and Xilai watched a warship enter Linden’s atmosphere.
