Amid the clamor outside the square, Han Shuo leaped through the wall the Zombie Warriors had battered open earlier and landed on the level ground behind it. A few steps farther behind him lay the pit the Skeleton Warriors had dug. Branches concealed its mouth, and the Ghouls had spread soil over the outside, making it look perfectly ordinary.
At Han Shuo's command, the Dark Creatures scattered after completing their tasks, hiding behind nearby trees and artificial rock formations. Standing behind the earthen wall, Han Shuo once again unleashed volleys of Bone Spears and Bone Arrows at the three rapidly approaching Light Department students.
"Hmph, fighting us head-on is just asking for trouble." Kiron approached, sending two Light Sword Slashes flying ahead to destroy Han Shuo's attacks, then closed in quickly alongside the other two students.
The other two students, almost upon Han Shuo, also chanted Magic Spells and blasted down the earthen wall he had just piled up. One of them had barely stepped inside when Han Shuo saw his foot land in a rope loop and immediately issued an order to the zombie under his control.
The Zombie Warrior standing some distance away suddenly heaved with its large hands gripping the rope. The loose loop beneath the Light Department student's foot instantly tightened around his ankle and hoisted him into the air.
"Damn it!" Kiron shouted angrily. He was about to rescue the Light Department student when Han Shuo, who had withdrawn from his original position, launched more Bone Spears at him from another direction, forcing him to retreat for the moment.
The other student, however, reacted quickly and released a Light Sword Slash that severed the rope, sending the suspended student crashing to the ground with a loud cry of pain.
A large boulder wrapped in ropes
