Han Shuo offered no opinions during Lawrence and the others' subsequent discussion. He was only considering what effect that madman Van Razer's arrival in Osen City would have on him.
Given what he had promised Fanny, Han Shuo understood that now Van Razer had arrived in Osen City, the two of them would certainly meet soon. Han Shuo already had two women, Phoebe and Emily, and this could not remain a secret forever. Once Fanny learned about it, who knew how violently she would react!
The same went for Phoebe. She had only just come to terms with Emily's situation, and she still seemed angry. If Fanny were added to the mix, it would probably cause an enormous uproar. Unfortunately, at this point, there seemed to be no way to keep it hidden.
"Brian, Brian!" Lawrence suddenly called twice.
Han Shuo abruptly snapped out of his thoughts, looked at Lawrence in surprise, and asked, "What?"
"What do you think we should do next? Charles is our primary opponent. Do you have any good ideas?" Lawrence looked at Han Shuo with shining eyes, seeking his opinion.
Han Shuo was feeling troubled and distracted, and had not listened carefully to their discussion at all. At the question, he shook his head. "I don't have any good ideas."
Hearing this and noticing Han Shuo's troubled expression, Lawrence realized he might have something on his mind. He nodded without pressing him and continued discussing matters with the nobles who supported him.
Before long, their discussion ended, and the nobles left Lawrence's residence one after another. Emily also left with Old Hahn, leaving only Phoebe, Lawrence, and Han Shuo.
