"What way?" Gilbert asked at once.
"Elizabeth in Brettel City. Perhaps she can help us!" Han Shuo explained.
Elizabeth was a target of the Church of Light, and her peculiar God-Graced Body had the miraculous ability to absorb the Church of Light's divine power. Han Shuo had a vague feeling that she might be able to dispel the Ice and Snow Goddess's divine power contained in the cage. Once this Ice Jade Cage lost the protection of the Ice and Snow Goddess's divine power, Han Shuo was completely certain he could break it.
"Her?" Gilbert clearly did not quite believe it. He paused, then, seeing that Han Shuo seemed somewhat confident, could not help asking, "Can she be trusted?"
"I'm not too sure either, but there's no harm in trying!" Han Shuo said.
"You-you're called Brian, aren't you?" Inside the cage beneath the Black Dragon Gilbert, Gilges, patriarch of the Black Dragon Clan, looked up at Han Shuo and spoke.
"Yes!" Han Shuo answered.
"Thank you for saving us. The Black Dragon Clan will remember your kindness!" Gilges bowed down before Han Shuo. Then he raised his head and said, "The people of the Ice and Snow God Temple came, killed our clansmen, and imprisoned us here. One reason was that they intended to turn our entire Black Dragon Clan into their mounts. The other was to learn from me the route to the third layer of the Underground World!"

Han Shuo was startled. Then he looked intently at the Black Dragon Chief and asked, "What exactly is going on?"
Since Gilges had volunteered information about the third layer of the Underground World, it seemed he was prepared to tell Han Shuo the whole story frankly. This rather surprised Han Shuo.
"Gilbert returned
