Wallace nodded without saying anything more and went straight into the treatment room, seemingly anxious about Kamelita's condition.
Andrei did not go in. He fell silent for a while, his expression grim, then suddenly looked hard at Han Shuo and asked, "You said that Dark Divine Power felt somewhat familiar to you? What did you mean?"
Han Shuo had not given it much thought, but the moment he saw Andrei's solemn expression, he realized what Andrei suspected. A thought struck him, and his face grew cold. That vague feeling suddenly became clear, and he lowered his voice. "It was him. There's no mistake!"
Andrei naturally knew whom Han Shuo meant. His expression grew even grimmer, and another long silence followed. He seemed to be considering what to do. Only after a while did he tell Han Shuo quietly, "Don't breathe a word of this. I'll investigate it thoroughly. If it really was that man, rest assured-he won't escape death!"
For the Saint Family to have become the greatest family in Shadow City, Han Shuo knew Wallace and Andrei were certainly not merciful men. With Andrei's assurance, he understood that once Andrei established the facts, Avery would probably have no way out but death, so he said nothing more.
Soon, Wallace came back out. After checking Kamelita's injuries, his expression had eased considerably. He first nodded to Andrei, indicating that Kamelita was indeed out of mortal danger, before telling Han Shuo, "You've saved Kamelita's life twice. I won't make any unnecessary promises, but I'll remember it."
With someone like Wallace saying that, Han Shuo believed that from now on, he could do as he pleased in Shadow City, provided he did nothing too damaging to the Saint Family's interests.
"Brother, there are some things I'd like to discuss with you alone,"
