Chu Xisheng earned a place at Zhengyang Martial Academy, survived the Bloodwind Bandits’ attack, and uncovered the Yazi saber intent’s power. He entered Firebone Cavern with Lu Luanli to find Yangyang Grass, while Chu Yunyun pursued them and the Long Household hunted Chu Xisheng.

• Chu Xisheng won admission to Zhengyang Martial Academy by swiftly disarming Long Sheng, and received an Essence-Gathering Formation and other rewards.
• Chu Yunyun helped Chu Xisheng settle into the academy, where he studied its manuals and met the disguised bandit Li Daogui in the Library Tower.
• Li Daogui and the Bloodwind Bandits attacked the Library Tower in search of Qin Muge’s God-Defying Banner, and Chu Xisheng helped kill their hidden spellcaster with Lu Luanli’s aid.
• Cao Xuan rewarded Chu Xisheng and asked him to investigate Qin Muge’s legacy, while Chu Xisheng began using Virtual Practice to improve his saber skills.
• Chu Xisheng studied the Yazi Diagram, gained Yazi Remnant Intent, and learned from Chu Yunyun that it could help them resist the Six Yin Soul-Returning Incantation.
• Chu Xisheng and Lu Luanli traveled to Firebone Cavern for Yangyang Grass, where the Long Household’s forces pursued them after Chu Xisheng killed several of their men.
• Chu Yunyun learned that Du Hong was hunting Chu Xisheng and entered the cavern after him, while Chu Xisheng and Lu Luanli pushed deeper and found the wounded Tie Xiaosheng with two stalks of Yangyang Grass.

Chu Xisheng survived the Long Household’s pursuit, rose to prominence at Zhengyang Martial Academy, and traveled with Chu Yunyun and Lu Luanli to sell weapons. After a ferry disaster and several arena victories, he faced a fresh confrontation when Long Heng demanded the identity of Du Hong’s killer.

• Chu Xisheng awakened his bloodline, fought off the Long Clan pursuers with Lu Luanli’s help, and killed sixteen attackers before they escaped Firebone Cavern with Tie Xiaosheng.
• Back at the academy, Chu Xisheng spread tales of his victories to build his reputation, then won the Four Symbols Duel Disk tournament and claimed the Secret Move Totem.
• Chu Xisheng’s saber intent repelled Liu Xingruo, and Lu Luanli brought him an almanac that reported his deeds and increased his Martial Dao Points.
• Chu Xisheng and Chu Yunyun took weapons to Ancient Market Town with Lu Luanli, but a Heluo Fish destroyed their ferry, and Lu Luanli and Chu Yunyun fought the fish while Chu Xisheng helped rescue the passengers.

• Lu Luanli directed Chu Xisheng to the Black Market Arena, where he won three bouts and raised his Martial Dao Points.
• Long Heng arrived at the arena with Long Sheng and armed men, displayed the sword Chu Xisheng had sold, and demanded to know who killed Senior Brother Du.
• A young gentleman in a brocade robe confronted Long Heng and challenged him for causing trouble at the South Street Temple Fair.

Chu Xisheng won a series of deadly arena fights, trained to strengthen his abilities, and drew a growing bounty and the attention of assassins. After killing Zhuang Hongfei and receiving a Wind-Chasing Blade totem, he prepared for his next match as Zhou Liangchen raced toward Ancient Market Town.

• Chu Xisheng killed Heng Fifteen, Heng Nineteen, and Heng Wei in succession at the temple fair, while Long Heng’s challenge was interrupted by Tie Xiaosheng’s clash with him.
• Chu Xisheng escaped Ancient Market Town with Chu Yunyun and Lu Luanli, declined Tie Xiaosheng’s offer to join the Iron Banner Gang, and began spreading an account of his victories.
• Chu Yunyun and Chu Xisheng burned a Long Clan depot, framed the Bloodwind Bandits, and escaped with stolen valuables after Chu Yunyun concealed their traces.
• Chu Xisheng’s reputation and Martial Dao Points rose, and he redeemed Five Senses Attunement while assassins began targeting him with a growing bounty.
• After intense training and a breakthrough in Origin-Nourishing Art, Chu Xisheng returned to Ancient Market Town to fight Zhuang Hongfei and Zhou Liangchen.
• Chu Xisheng defeated Zhuang Hongfei in the arena, cutting through his armor and killing him with a final strike to the chest.

Chu Xisheng rescued Lu Luanli, survived attacks from academy rivals, and strengthened his Yazi Saber Intent. He accepted the Zhou Clan’s invitation to compete for an Immortal Palace Secret Key and arrived in Linhai, where the gathered contenders began sizing him up.

• Chu Xisheng and Chu Yunyun rescued Lu Luanli from the Bloodwind Bandits, and Chu Xisheng used Qin Muge’s Character Card to defeat Ge Ping’an and the other bandits.
• Chu Xisheng defeated Zhou Liangchen in one saber exchange, then entered the Library Tower and raised his Yazi Saber Intent to the third layer.
• Liu Xingruo and seven Three-Leaf disciples attacked Chu Xisheng through the Essence-Gathering Formation, but his manifested Yazi Saber Intent overwhelmed them and earned him cultivation medicine.
• Shangguan Longjian demanded that Chu Xisheng yield first place in the assessment, but Chu refused and his Yazi Saber Intent stopped Shangguan’s sword-bearing subordinates.
• Zhou Xiangshan recruited Chu Xisheng to help the Zhou Clan obtain an Immortal Palace Secret Key, promising rewards that included a chance at a Divine Origin Rejuvenation Pill.
• Chu Yunyun and Lu Luanli helped prepare Chu Xisheng for the secret-realm contest, while Chu Yunyun secretly followed him to Linhai and Lu Luanli joined her.
• Chu Xisheng reached Linhai and met Zhou Xiangshan and Zhou Liangchen, concealing his worry that the Zhou Clan expected him to win because of his earlier victory over Zhou Liangchen.
