The team's sparring match ended, and Ye Feng did not particularly care about winning or losing. Minato Namikaze, however, regretted not getting to fight Ye Feng at full strength. Uchiha Shinichi and Kakashi Hatake were dejected, especially Uchiha Shinichi, who had failed to withstand even a single wave of attacks from Minato Namikaze. Yesterday, Kakashi Hatake had lost because a shadow clone distracted him; today, he had fought a shadow clone head-on and still lost.
This made them recognize Minato Namikaze's strength, as well as their own shortcomings. Both put aside their earlier pride. In this team, the two of them were at the bottom.
Seeing their expressions, Minato Namikaze nodded in mild satisfaction, thinking, Humble students really are easier to teach. Then he glanced at Ye Feng. This one's a little harder to teach.
"Now that you've gotten to know one another and have a better understanding of your own abilities, you need to work out the direction of your future development. I can offer you some suggestions for reference." The sparring match had achieved its purpose. Next came proper planning and instruction.
"I want to learn that hand seal-less ninjutsu of yours, Sensei. I focus on swordsmanship and close combat, and hand seal-less ninjutsu could improve my close-combat ability." Kakashi Hatake immediately asked to learn the hand seal-less ninjutsu, showing none of the arrogance he had displayed when they first met.
"I want to learn it too. It could catch an opponent off guard in close combat," Uchiha Shinichi agreed.
That put Minato Namikaze in a difficult position, however. He turned to Ye Feng and asked, "Can I teach them this?" After all, it was Ye Feng's ninjutsu, so Minato Namikaze could hardly decide for himself whether to teach it.
