Hyuga Hiashi and Hizashi Hyuga also took in the expressions of Ye Feng and Takeda Hyuga. Puzzled themselves, they looked themselves over but found nothing amiss.
"Young friend Ye Feng, have you noticed something wrong with my two sons?" Unable to figure it out, Takeda Hyuga decided to ask directly.
"Oh, nothing much. I simply noticed this young man's extraordinary bearing. I imagine he must be the next clan leader of the Hyuga Clan." Takeda Hyuga's question roused Ye Feng from his thoughts, and he hurriedly offered a compliment.
"Haha, you certainly have a keen eye, young friend Ye Feng. This son of mine does indeed intend to take over as the next clan leader."
Takeda Hyuga was naturally delighted by Ye Feng's words. Anyone would be pleased to hear their son praised, especially since Hyuga Hiashi was the son Takeda Hyuga held in high regard. As for Hyuga Hiashi, there was little more to say. Though he said nothing, the smile on his face made his happiness clear.
Only Hizashi Hyuga, standing beside Hyuga Hiashi, showed a look of dejection.
Ye Feng naturally noticed Hizashi Hyuga's expression as well, so he put on a serious face and continued:
"As for this other son of Clan Leader Takeda, judging by his face, it seems he will die young."
Ye Feng's words startled Takeda Hyuga and his sons, who had been happy just moments before. They did not understand why Uchiha Yefeng would say such a thing.
Hearing that he would die young, Hizashi Hyuga froze, then looked displeased. However, he knew how important Ye Feng was, so he did not argue.
Takeda Hyuga, on the other hand, looked anxious as he asked Ye Feng:
"Why do you say that, young friend Ye Feng? Do you have any grounds for it?"
