Hanzō nodded slightly after hearing Shinzō of the Salamander's words, clearly agreeing with his assessment.
"I didn't sense an enormous amount of chakra from Uchiha Yefeng, but he gave me a slight sense of dread. He seems to possess a means of hurting me."
Shinzō of the Salamander immediately looked shocked and hurriedly asked:
"What? He can actually pose a threat to you, my lord?"
Shinzō of the Salamander was not questioning Hanzō's judgment; he simply found it hard to believe. Hanzo of the Salamander was known as the "Demigod." Even Konoha's Sannin had failed to do him any harm, yet this brat Ye Feng could actually threaten the Demigod.
Then Shinzō of the Salamander recalled the report his subordinate had just delivered: the rain had automatically avoided Ye Feng all along the way. Since Ye Feng made no effort to conceal such an unusual ability, it stood to reason that he had other special means hidden away.
With a means of threatening the Demigod, combined with the Flying Thunder God Technique, he is an opponent we absolutely must not make an enemy of.
With that in mind, Shinzō of the Salamander hurriedly advised Hanzō:
"Uchiha Yefeng is a hot potato right now. We must get him to leave as soon as possible. We stand to gain nothing from him, and if anything happens to him in Amegakure, Konoha will certainly come looking for trouble."
Hanzō's expression grew even darker at those words. He felt utterly stifled. A brat had angrily talked back to him, yet he still had to ensure the boy's safety. When had Hanzō, the Demigod, ever been treated like this?
But there was nothing he could do. He could only give Shinzō of the Salamander his orders:
