Ye Feng looked at Yahiko, who was about to put on his rain poncho, and snatched it away.
Yahiko was baffled by Ye Feng's action and looked at him in confusion.
Ye Feng could not be bothered to explain and simply walked out of the tavern.
The next second, Yahiko's eyes widened. He had never seen anything so strange. It was as though there were an umbrella over Ye Feng's head, and the rain automatically flowed around him.
Yahiko then recalled how Ye Feng had stopped him from putting on his poncho and came up with a seemingly far-fetched guess.
He tentatively stretched out an arm. As though his arm had an umbrella over it too, the rain flowed around it.
Yahiko then stepped all the way out of the tavern, yet did not feel a single drop of rain land on him.
His face filled with excitement as he kept leaping around in the downpour, even letting out a few howls now and then.
Watching the excited Yahiko, Ye Feng smiled from the heart.
Yahiko was not very old to begin with. It was only the war that had made him seem somewhat mature for his age. This cheerful Yahiko was how he ought to be.
After watching Yahiko play for a while, Ye Feng reminded him:
"It's getting late. We should go!"
Only then did Yahiko snap out of it. Looking at the darkening sky, he quickly reined in his excitement and said apologetically to Ye Feng:
"Sorry about that. I haven't felt like this in ages. I got a little carried away."
With that, Yahiko took the lead and walked ahead.
Soon, Yahiko led Ye Feng out of Amegakure. After all, the Akatsuki did not belong to Amegakure, so its base was located a short distance away
