After the meeting ended, Ye Feng handed Hiramekarei over to Orochimaru and returned home looking as though he had nothing left to live for.
Ye Feng had planned to visit the Land of Rain anyway, and this was a perfect chance to go openly. He still had to put on an act, though, or there was no telling how many missions they would assign him in the future.
The next day, Ye Feng obtained the official documents from Minato Namikaze.
Ye Feng headed to the Land of Rain as Konoha's envoy. Even if he encountered Black Zetsu and the others, it would not matter.
At that moment, Nagato, Konan, Obito, and Black and White Zetsu were gathered in a secret chamber in Amegakure.
Black Zetsu shouted in shock:
"What did you say? Samsara power didn't work on Ye Feng? How is that possible? That's a power only a god can wield! How could it have no effect?"
Nagato said with a dark expression:
"That's what happened. Kakuzu and Sasori were both there. You can ask them yourself."
Nagato had also taken precautions and had not revealed that Ye Feng possessed the Rinnegan, because he remembered Ye Feng warning him to be wary of Black Zetsu.
Black Zetsu knew Nagato was not lying, nor did he have any reason to. His expression darkened as well:
"This makes things difficult. With Uchiha Yefeng being so troublesome, capturing the Nine-Tails from him will be extremely difficult. If we'd known, we should have withdrawn as soon as we obtained the Nine-Tails back then. Otherwise, we wouldn't have ended up in this situation."
Obito stood to the side without saying anything, but inwardly, he was already scoffing:
