Uchiha Fugaku had originally brought Sasuke and Itachi to Ye Feng, hoping he would take them as disciples, only for Ye Feng to refuse.

The medical ninja trembled at those words, his face filled with disappointment, but he still bowed to Ye Feng before standing up.
Then Ye Feng spoke again:
"But if you want to improve your medical ninjutsu, you can go see Tsunade. Tell her I recommended you. I imagine she won't refuse."
Hearing this, the medical ninja's disappointment instantly turned to overwhelming joy, and he bowed respectfully to Ye Feng in thanks:
"Thank you for giving me this opportunity, Lord Ye Feng!"
Ye Feng helped the medical ninja up and said with a smile:
