"What are you looking at? Move along! Or do you want to take a little trip to the Military Police Force?"
After driving away the villagers running the stalls, the lead Uchiha officer addressed the villagers around him.
The villagers hurried to keep their distance, afraid they would not get away fast enough.
Weren't these just like the urban enforcement officers from years ago? In Ye Feng's world, people like this were deeply disliked, bullying others by relying on the power backing them. In modern times, public opinion and law enforcement would have dealt with them long ago. But the Hokage world was a place where strength reigned supreme. A powerful, influential clan enjoyed special privileges.
Still, these Uchiha really were brain-dead. What good could have come from the Second Hokage putting the Uchiha in charge of Konoha's Military Police Force? Wasn't it just to get the villagers to ostracize the Uchiha, ideally wiping them out or driving them away? How could so many Uchiha fail to see through it? Yet they kept doing as they pleased, acting as though heaven ranked first and they ranked second.
Ye Feng shook his head. He was only a four-year-old child now, with neither strength nor status. Once he grew stronger, he would consider changing the Uchiha. After all, he was now a member of the Uchiha too.
Ye Feng had explored most of Konoha's shopping district. Although it lacked the rows of tall buildings from his previous life, it was bustling with people. With such a large purchase, the shop assistant eagerly offered to help Ye Feng take it home. Before the assistant could lend a hand, however, they watched in astonishment as Ye Feng hoisted the enormous bag and headed home.
And so a strange sight appeared along the road: an enormous bag of food slowly floated forward on its own. Without looking closely, one would hardly notice the tiny body and short little legs underneath.
When Ye Feng brought the enormous bag home, he found Obito Uchiha already sitting inside.
The moment Obito saw Ye Feng, he rushed over and declared as though issuing a challenge, "From now on, I'm training with you. I'll only rest when you do. I'm definitely going to surpass you."
