Ye Feng casually tossed the Chakra Cultivation Technique scroll to Obito Uchiha, speaking around a mouthful of food.

"Study it yourself."

Obito Uchiha took the scroll. The more he read, the more his head hurt. He recognized every character, but somehow couldn't understand them when they were put together. He promptly tossed the scroll back to Ye Feng.

"You'd better teach me."

Seeing Obito Uchiha's expression, Ye Feng knew the guy just wasn't good at understanding things. With brains like that, how had he become a minor boss?

Ye Feng stared at Obito Uchiha with a speechless look.

"What's with that look? I'm giving you a chance by asking you to teach me. I'm going to become the greatest Hokage, so you'd better treasure this rare opportunity," Obito Uchiha said, pointing at Ye Feng in exasperation.

Ye Feng didn't argue with him. Since Obito cared about him and had brought him food, he would explain it to him.

After explaining Chakra cultivation, Ye Feng sent Obito off to practice, telling him to try gathering and sensing Chakra for himself. Ye Feng, meanwhile, began cultivating with the Cultivation Method.

Time passed quickly. When Ye Feng opened his eyes again, it was already morning.

Ye Feng couldn't help sighing.

"No wonder they say a day in a cave can be a thousand years in the outside world. I didn't even feel time passing, and so much time has already gone by."

Ye Feng looked at Obito Uchiha, who was sleeping soundly beside him. He had no idea when Obito had fallen asleep, even though he'd been talking about practicing.

Ye Feng ignored Obito Uchiha and began checking the results of his night's cultivation. He didn't know how many wisps of True Qi he had cultivated. He only felt that he was condensing True Qi faster and faster, and that the True Qi he had condensed had spread throughout his body, strengthening his muscles, bones, and Chakra Pathways.

Ye Feng hadn't slept all night, but he didn't feel tired. In fact, he felt more energetic, full of life. His eyesight seemed to have improved, too; distant objects looked clearer, and he could feel that his eyes were on the verge of awakening.

It seemed the Cultivation Method not only strengthened the body but also enhanced Spiritual Power, which was extremely useful to the Uchiha Clan.

Awakening the Sharingan required a great joy or sorrow to stimulate Spiritual Power, causing it to rise sharply and open up the Chakra Pathways, thus bringing about the awakening. However, the Naruto world had no orthodox, complete system for cultivating and improving Spiritual Power. People could only raise it slowly through long-term training.

Ye Feng had no such difficulty. As long as he kept cultivating with the Cultivation Method, his Spiritual Power would continue to grow, and the Sharingan would awaken along with it.

He then checked the rest of his body and felt that he had gained more precise control over it.

Ye Feng wanted to see what level his body had reached, so he got up and began practicing the moves that went with the Cultivation Method.

"Bang!"

With a bang, Ye Feng hadn't yet adjusted to the changes in his body and kicked the wooden door of the room apart.

"What happened? Was that an earthquake?"

Obito Uchiha was startled awake by the noise. He immediately sat up and cried out.

Obito Uchiha saw Ye Feng standing with one leg raised after kicking the wooden door apart, turning to look at him in bewilderment. He also noticed the shattered door and the debris all over the floor. Realizing that Ye Feng had broken the door with a single kick, Obito pointed at him in disbelief, too shocked to get the words out.

Although buildings in the Naruto world were made of wood, they were very sturdy. A four-year-old child who hadn't trained couldn't kick one apart.

Obito's shocked expression immediately turned to excitement. He grabbed Ye Feng by the shoulders and shook him as he spoke.

"How did you get so strong? Tell me how you did it, right now!!!"

Ye Feng couldn't exactly tell Obito the truth, so he could only make something up.

"I have an extraordinary talent. I've already gathered Chakra."

Obito Uchiha looked utterly unconvinced.

"I practiced all night and didn't condense any Chakra. You must be hiding the key to cultivation. Come on, tell me!"

In the end, Ye Feng repeatedly confirmed to Obito that there was nothing wrong with the Chakra Cultivation Technique. Only then did Obito let him go and head home with a disappointed look on his face.
