The system had warned him to be careful twice in a row, which meant Jurassic World had to be extremely dangerous.
Thinking about it, that made sense. With his current strength, killing something as enormous as a dinosaur really was a bit ridiculous.
If he could swap his pistol for an assault rifle, Lin Feng might give it a try. But with just a pistol, he was afraid he might use up every bullet without killing even one dinosaur!
In Lin Feng's mind, dinosaurs were practically monsters. They were the sort of things that called for Ultraman.

As the announcement sounded, Lin Feng grew nervous again. He put on his Leather Backpack and held his pistol in his hand.
When the elevator doors opened, deafening roars reached Lin Feng's ears. The world before him looked exactly like Jurassic World in the movies, with towering trees, prehistoric creatures everywhere, and Pteranodons soaring through the sky in search of prey...
Just as Lin Feng was becoming absorbed in the magnificent scenery, he suddenly realized something.
This floor...
Was frighteningly huge!
If he could reach every place he could see, this floor probably covered tens of thousands of hectares.
But the deafening dinosaur roars nearby alone told Lin Feng that he absolutely could not wander around, or he might die without even knowing how it happened.
"Fifty meters to the right after leaving the elevator. That's not far. Damn it! Here goes!"
Steeling himself, Lin Feng stepped straight out of the elevator, the only safe place.
He had just one goal: to get the dinosaur egg!
The system had said the dinosaur that hatched from the egg would most likely recognize him as its master, so he simply had to get it. Admittedly, this plan was rather bold.

Lin Feng muttered as he cautiously scanned his surroundings.
Fortunately, none of the prehistoric creatures noticed this insignificant human.
Just then, a sudden rustling came from the berry bushes ahead. Lin Feng immediately raised his pistol and stared tensely at the bushes, slowly backing away, ready to run at any moment.
A moment later, an animal that looked like both a bird and a chicken hopped out of the berry bushes.
"Is that... a Dodo??"
"Quack, quack!"
Rather than running when it saw Lin Feng, the Dodo charged aggressively at him, looking ready to give him a beating.

After two consecutive shots, the Dodo was shot dead.
"What the hell? It really is an idiot."
Lin Feng muttered, then put the Dodo into his backpack. It was surprisingly heavy, probably weighing more than five kilograms.
While he was at it, he stuffed the entire berry bush into his Leather Backpack too. As long as he could fit it inside, he could store it.
After walking a little farther, Lin Feng finally saw the legendary Dragon's Nest.
Beneath the large rock before him were two recently hatched baby dinosaurs and one intact dinosaur egg. The egg was probably about the size of Lin Feng's head.
Many animal carcasses lay around the Dragon's Nest, though most were small animals. The most numerous were Dodos like the one Lin Feng had just shot.
There were also scraps of meat bitten off from who knew where.
"Small carnivorous dinosaurs?"
There really were no adult dinosaurs guarding the Dragon's Nest, but those two babies didn't look easy to deal with.
When they saw Lin Feng, an unfamiliar creature, enter their territory, the two baby dinosaurs immediately took fighting stances, letting out repeated snarls to intimidate him.
Intent on stealing the egg, Lin Feng showed them no mercy. After emptying the remaining bullets in his magazine, he quickly ran over and put all the intact Dodo carcasses and dinosaur bodies into his Leather Backpack.
His main reason for collecting the Dodo carcasses was to feed the baby dinosaur inside the egg.
He could also roast some dinosaur meat on another floor to try it himself, though he didn't know whether it was edible.
"Roar!!"
"Holy shit! This is bad! The parent's here!!"
Hearing a roar very close by, Lin Feng jumped in fright. He hurriedly put the dinosaur egg into his Leather Backpack and ran back without looking behind him.
It was only 50 meters. He just needed a few seconds!
"Roar!!!"
Seeing that its babies had been killed, the pursuing Velociraptor roared in grief and fury at the unfamiliar creature, Lin Feng.
"Holy crap, isn't that a Velociraptor?"
Watching the Velociraptor run faster than a cheetah, Lin Feng's pupils constricted in fear.
At this rate, it would catch him in no time. No, he had to fight back!
Lin Feng stopped in his tracks and emptied his magazine. He wasn't hoping for accuracy anymore. As long as a few shots hit and slowed the Velociraptor down, he could get out alive!
"Roar!"
Only four of the thirteen bullets hit, but all four happened to strike the hind legs the Velociraptor relied on.
The Velociraptor let out a pained roar, then collapsed to the ground with a thud.
Clearly, the pain in its hind legs kept it from running normally, and Lin Feng finally made it back into the elevator alive.
Back inside, Lin Feng leaned against the wall, panting hard. Only when he touched his back did he realize it was drenched in cold sweat.
That had been far too dangerous.
Thank goodness he had a pistol.
Although there were still twenty minutes before the elevator closed, Lin Feng was not going out again.
After taking out the dinosaur egg and placing it on his bed, Lin Feng loaded his pistol's last magazine.
Just then, heavy footsteps sounded.
The Velociraptor from earlier had actually come stumbling over.
Its injured legs kept it from moving very fast, but it had still found its way over by following the direction in which Lin Feng had fled.
Fortunately, Lin Feng was inside the elevator now, where the Velociraptor could not detect him.
Watching the Velociraptor roar over and over, Lin Feng felt a little guilty.
After all, he had killed two of its children and stolen the last one. He would have gone mad with rage too.
Just then, a Pteranodon suddenly swooped down from the sky and snatched up the injured Velociraptor in its beak.
Such was the brutal prehistoric world.
Watching the Pteranodon gradually disappear from sight, he turned a complicated gaze toward the dinosaur egg.
