But he keenly detected the surprise in Uncle-Master Ma's voice and asked curiously:
"Martial Uncle, is this Emperor Willow very high-tier?"
He was an expert in Beast Taming, but he knew only a little common knowledge about spirit plants.
He knew only that this little golden tree was extraordinary, not what made it so.
Ma Shengxu glanced around twice, his expression growing slightly grave, then said quietly:
"Its tier isn't high, only third tier."
"But you've stumbled upon a treasure, lad. This thing is perfect for you! Come with me."
"Well..."
Wang Ba glanced at Bu Chan, who was still carefully instructing the Spirit Plant Masters, hesitated, then nodded.
His curiosity only grew.
Uncle-Master Ma was the head of the Sect's Spirit Plant Department and had handled countless high-tier spirit plants, yet he treated this little tree with such gravity. It made Wang Ba genuinely curious about what set this Emperor Willow apart, and how it could help him.
He immediately followed Ma Shengxu to the department head's room on the second floor of the Spirit Plant Department.
Once Wang Ba entered, Ma Shengxu immediately raised his hand and formed a seal, sealing the door.
"Uncle-Master Ma, it's only a third-tier spirit plant. Is all this necessary?"
Wang Ba asked in puzzlement.
Ma Shengxu, however, shook his head solemnly:
"That's because you don't know this Emperor Willow's value."
"This thing is only third tier at present."
"At present?"
Wang Ba keenly caught the key point in Ma Shengxu's words.
"Exactly."
Ma Shengxu nodded. "It's only third tier at present, but unlike almost every other third-tier spirit plant, this Emperor Willow will advance step by step as its surrounding spirit vein environment improves and time passes!"
"Fourth tier, fifth tier-even sixth tier isn't impossible!"
