Orgrim fell back to Gul'dan's side, abruptly glanced into the distance behind him, then turned back. "Little fellow, impressive as you are, you will belong to our Horde in the end."

Beside him, Gul'dan merely remained on guard, showing no intention of casting another spell. He simply stared fixedly at Patrick. "The real show is still to come."

In fact, after Orgrim discovered that the humans had noticed his intentions, the Horde's newly organized Red Dragonflight had been standing by in the forest on the border between Miredal Province and the Ghostlands. He knew the human resistance would surely follow the Horde's trail to attack them, so he had left the red dragons in ambush among the mountains.

According to Orgrim's original plan, the Horde would conquer Quel'Thalas together with the Forest Trolls, then establish a camp jointly on this Northern Continent as a base from which to slowly turn their attention to the other human kingdoms. But Orgrim had not expected to encounter such a powerful enemy just after breaking in, forcing him to deploy the Red Dragonflight ahead of schedule.

Patrick was not in a particularly good position either. He was fighting two opponents alone, both of them powerful figures of the same rank as himself, putting him under tremendous pressure in combat. Moreover, Gul'dan, their main fighting force, was also a top-tier spellcaster. Patrick could not possibly prepare some super spell to defeat Orgrim and Gul'dan outright.

Gul'dan would certainly notice the magical fluctuations filling the sky and forcibly interrupt him, triggering magical backlash. That would be no different from courting death. On the battlefield, there were no unwritten rules such as "invincibility while transforming or casting" or "you must counter your opponent's skills head-on." Once an opponent found a fatal opening, the consequences were predictable.
