With Prince Tortheldrin dead, the affair in the central garden came to an end. Patrick immediately made arrangements. "Countess Liadrin, leave some Blood Knights here to settle the remaining Shen'dralar Night Elves. Tortheldrin is dead, and this place has lost its ley line coverage. These elves will definitely suffer from mana addiction in the future."
At that thought, Makus, Yavo, Lethon, and the others looked dejected. Ten thousand years ago, Tortheldrin had found Immol'thar and used him as a power source to sustain all of Eldre'Thalas for ten thousand years. But now Immol'thar was dead, Tortheldrin was dead, and Eldre'Thalas's energy field had collapsed. Even if they left, they would become Wretched when their mana addiction struck outside.
Seeing that Liadrin did not understand what he meant, Patrick continued, "If the Night Elves here want to stay, let them stay. We will provide them with food, housing, and military protection. Those who don't want to stay can leave on their own. Count the surviving Night Elves here, and deal with those chaotic arcane elementals and evil satyrs. Once I have dealt with the ogres to the north, Eldre'Thalas will be rebuilt into a new city, and I will establish a magical power source here to supply the new city with arcane energy."
"A new source of energy-arcane energy? Are you sure?" Makus was the most excited. In this hellhole of Eldre'Thalas, a group of elves had shared a single demon's fel energy. Life had been utterly miserable.
The other elves stared at Patrick in disbelief. With a new energy supply, who in their right mind would leave? They desperately needed to know whether Patrick was telling the truth.
Hui Li, standing nearby, could not help saying, "You had better speak more respectfully. You stand before the Regent of Quel'Thalas."
