The human at the head of the group was blunt and spoke his purpose outright. "We originally planned to reclaim the territory occupied by the lich. We didn't expect you to beat us to it."
Patrick, standing nearby, instead asked directly, "What is your name?"
"Taelan Tirion Fordring, lord of Hearthglen," the human leader replied. "And yours?"
"Patrick Cabrolon, Regent of the Blood Elves."
Patrick's words immediately gave all the humans pause. After all, the name Patrick Cabrolon had frequently come up in the former Alliance of Lordaeron, and Patrick himself had visited Lordaeron City many times. These humans were all surviving citizens of the Kingdom of Lordaeron, so naturally, they had heard his name.
"Regent of the Blood Elves, do you keep company with these undead who invaded your country? I wonder whether the people of the Kingdom of the Elves know what you've been doing." A Crusader who looked like an adjutant immediately spoke up. Blinded by fanaticism, the Scarlet Crusade had already lost the ability to distinguish right from wrong.
At these words, the eyes of the surrounding Forsaken seemed to spit sparks. Becoming the same as the murderers who had killed them was an eternal pain in the Forsaken's hearts, but it was indeed a fact, a reality no one had the power to change.
Patrick could not help laughing. It seemed the Scarlet Crusade had already been brainwashed by Isillien. Only Taelan Tirion Fordring seemed somewhat better. After all, from what Nathanos had said, this had been the only time the Scarlet Crusade had encountered them without starting a fight.
But it was Lor'themar Theron beside him who answered. "The man beside me was once Lordaeron's Archbishop of the Holy Light. He never betrayed his country. Even after becoming undead, he continued to give quietly."
