In a single exchange, Patrick crushed these minions of the Scourge. Even the Scourge necromancers lurking in the shadows suffered magical backlash, causing their concealment spells to fail.

This was also why Patrick had come here alone. The Scourge instructors entrenched here for decades all had some means of saving their own lives. If these vermin hiding underground escaped, they would surely lie low somewhere else, then look for a chance to act against him.

Scholomance had operated here for years and had firm foundations, making them believe they could put up a fight and giving all the Scourge instructors the illusion that they could win by banding together. Patrick's main objective was to have them painstakingly prepare every trap and magic circle, drawing out everyone lurking in the shadows. Only by rooting them out completely could he eliminate future trouble for good.

"What's wrong? Is that all? This doesn't quite match your earlier boasting." Patrick spoke casually as he watched the hidden Scourge necromancers reveal themselves. The Scourge's doom was drawing near.

I can turn this around and kill him! People in every world had that thought.

"You!" Though Gandling was furious, all he could do was bluster. "The Scourge will never be killed off."

"Even your leader wouldn't dare say that. Judgment will come eventually. And now, your deaths are only the beginning. Later, I'll send Arthas to hell to keep leading you."

Patrick looked at Gandling. Having delivered those final funeral words, he began channeling arcane energy, gathering it together. All the Scourge instructors around him had lost their ability to cast spells to magical backlash. They were now no different from skeleton soldiers and could only watch helplessly as Patrick prepared a large-scale spell.

Death was about to descend on every member of the Scourge.
