After putting their troops in order, Quel'Thalas's Outland Expeditionary Force bid farewell to Lieutenant General Voren and Commander Dullon. Patrick led the main force, along with the newly joined Demon Hunter Loramus, onward in a grand procession toward their next destination: Nagrand, where Altruis was.
Along the way, Patrick pondered his previous life and his present one, and whether his methods would actually work. Had he known he would transmigrate, he would certainly have brought plenty of books on economics and thought. If possible, he could also have brought practical electrical devices such as computers and generators to help him calculate data.
These things were extremely useful in Azeroth, and dedicated disciplines had yet to be established for them. The Gnomes had done some research, but most of it was magically powered engineering. Azeroth was, after all, in an age of swords and magic. Nothing could be divorced from the most basic principles of magic.
