Zangarmarsh had originally had five great lakes. Though not particularly rich or fertile, it was an ecosystem brimming with life. Many unusual creatures inhabited Zangarmarsh, where forests of giant glowing mushrooms surrounded beautiful lakeshores. Compared with neighboring Hellfire Peninsula, Zangarmarsh still retained most of its pristine character.
Its unique ecosystem was somewhat similar to Azeroth's Wetlands, but it lacked the Wetlands' abundance, and its atmosphere was gloomier. The damp smell in the air made people instinctively uncomfortable.
Following the road straight ahead, their first stop was the Horde camp, Zabra'jin, a stronghold the Trolls had established in Zangarmarsh.
At the sight of the Blood Elf army, the Trolls panicked for a moment, mindful of their past racial enmity. But when Shadow Hunter Dren'gar saw the Orc troops behind them, he relaxed a little. At least the Trolls and Orcs both belonged to the Horde, didn't they?
"Up ahead is the Troll camp, Zabra'jin. The Trolls are an allied race of the Horde, so you can rest assured," Patrick explained to Prophet Kaurhuk, who merely gave a casual acknowledgment.
Patrick ordered the troops to stop briefly. Seeing Dren'gar ahead, surrounded by troops, stirred little in him.
Dren'gar would not take the initiative to attack the Blood Elf troops. How many Trolls did Zabra'jin have, anyway? If they started a war, not a single soul in Zabra'jin would survive.
"Regent Cabrolon of Quel'Thalas, what important business brings you here with such a large force?" Trolls and Elves had always been sworn enemies. Given the fairly good relationship between the Horde and Quel'Thalas, Dren'gar's attitude was already quite friendly.
"I'm just passing through with the Mag'har Orcs of Nagrand, heading for Hellfire Peninsula." Patrick glanced at Garrosh and the others beside him. "These are kin of your Horde's Orcs who were left behind
