Elune's distinctive sigils appeared around him, while the Ley Line nodes in the sky began projecting pillars of arcane light toward the ground. Like Shandris's Moonlight Goddess's Prayer, countless thick pillars of arcane light descended from the heavens.
"You, how could this be? How could-"
Kil'jaeden never managed to finish. The great demon, whose summoning was only halfway complete, was instantly blasted to death by the Moon Goddess Orbital Cannon.
The dust settled. Not a trace of Kil'jaeden's presence remained anywhere on the Isle of Quel'Danas, and the Spatial Gateway the demons had painstakingly constructed was destroyed along with him.
With Kil'jaeden's death, the Battle of the Sunwell came to an end. Patrick finally breathed a sigh of relief.
