Patrick Cabrolon advanced as a mage while advising Alleria’s campaign against the Amani trolls and helping secure Life Forest. After the victory at Zeb'Watha, the Silvermoon Council appointed him to the Sun Temple, where he planned to develop his studies and grow alchemy herbs.

• Patrick studied at Thas'wether's Tower, declined a place at the Royal Academy of Arcane Arts, and left Silvermoon City to pursue his own path.
• Patrick advised Alleria at the East Sanctum that the trolls might attack Farstrider Lodge, then joined an expedition into Life Forest to disrupt their preparations.
• Patrick and Ellen formed the Arcane Mass Point against Chief Zul'Marosh's force, allowing Alleria's troops to retreat, and Patrick later advanced to the Sixth Ring.
• Patrick advised the commanders to scout and prepare before attacking Zeb'Watha, repaired Alleria's Windrunner's Bow, and studied spatial magic.

Patrick established himself at Sunfury Spire, expanded its workshops, and received royal recognition while navigating the competing interests of Silvermoon’s council and king. He then joined an expedition into Uldaman, where he encountered Lorekeeper Norgannon and received the Four Discs of Norgannon's Arcane Truth.

• Patrick redesigned the Sun Temple as Sunfury Spire, took charge of its Mage Tower, and welcomed Idonis and Candiris as followers.
• Patrick organized alchemy and enchanting workshops, expanded potion production, and approved housing for merchants and rangers.
• Patrick reunited with his family, proposed expanding the Cabrolon family’s herbalism business, and sought a position at the Royal Academy of Arcane Arts.
• King Anasterian made Patrick a baron and awarded him the Golden Dragonhawk Medal, while Telestra arrived at Sunfury Spire as the academy’s ambassador.
• Patrick studied the metamagic techniques Energy Disjunction and Spell Sequencing, then recruited Lorne Songweaver and Alleria to explore Uldaman.
• Patrick and the expedition entered Uldaman, defeated Troggs and guardians, found the missing dwarves, and opened the Seat of Khaz'goroth.

Patrick studied the Discs of Norgannon, expanded Sunfury Spire, and became the focus of competing political interests in Quel'Thalas. During an expedition against the trolls, he rescued the Lynx Spirit and advanced to the Seventh Circle, then returned to find his tower thriving.

• Patrick helped the Uldaman expedition escape Galgann Firehammer's attack, returned to Sunfury Spire with the Discs of Norgannon, and began studying their spatial magic.
• Patrick built Sunfury Spire's library and alchemy workshop while Telestra and Liadrin arrived as representatives of the Royal Family and Mages' Association, and he refused Master Ox Dawnblade's offer to join the Association.
• After Alleria reported that trolls were preparing sacrificial rites, Patrick joined her and Sylvanas in Sebunwa, where they found Malacrass trying to transfer the Lynx God's power to Halazzi.
• Patrick and the elves fought Akil'zon and Nalorakk, and Patrick drove both Animal Gods back before turning his attention to Malacrass's ritual.
• Patrick distracted Malacrass with layered spells, stole the Lynx Spirit from the altar, and escaped with Alleria's force.
• Patrick met Regba in the spirit world, purged the voodoo controlling him, and received a spiritual mark containing divine power.
• As Alleria led the elves out of Sebunwa, Patrick's spiritual power formed in his Sea of Consciousness and he advanced to the Seventh Circle.
• Patrick returned to Sunfury Spire, where Quelrintis and Yanida congratulated him and he found that his staff had kept the tower running smoothly.

Patrick became a Silvermoon Councilor and built the Sun Temple into a growing center of administration, trade, and military organization. As he pursued a powerful energy system for Sunfury Spire, he tightened oversight of his officials and prepared to shield his administration from Silvermoon Council interference.

• Patrick became a councilor, received knowledge from Norgannon’s records, and began organizing the Cabrolon family’s expansion beyond Silvermoon City.
• Patrick assigned Idonis, Candiris, and Lorne Songweaver key roles among his followers and gained administrative authority and land rights over the Sun Temple.
• The Council sent Patrick to Lordaeron, where King Terenas offered him trading privileges in exchange for support for Arthas and House Menethil.
• Patrick returned to Quel'Thalas, appointed Quelrintis and other officials to lead the Sun Temple’s administration, and set standards based on ability and performance.
• Patrick oversaw Sunfury Spire’s expansion, developed the surrounding land, and appointed Galinde Shalong to command the Sun Temple’s rangers.
• Patrick tried to use a Disc of Norgannon as Sunfury Spire’s energy source, but the first spell construct overheated, so he redesigned its crystal inscriptions and began building larger magic circles.
• Patrick warned his councilors against favoritism and donations, ordered the Observers to monitor the administration, and told senior officials to guard against Silvermoon Council infiltrators.
