Just as the tension in the room reached its peak, the Kazekage suddenly burst out laughing. "Haha, this is absolutely delicious! Sasori, I never expected you to find such a good ingredient. What does that flower look like?"
The tense Sasori relaxed at once and replied, "It's a very pretty, big red flower. It was my first time seeing one too. I stumbled across it during a mission and brought a little back out of curiosity. Since you like it, Lord Kazekage, you can have all of it."
The Kazekage waved a hand. "That won't do. You should take some to your grandmother too."
"I will," Sasori agreed. "Then, Lord Kazekage, I'll bring you more food tomorrow."
The Kazekage nodded with a smile. "Good. Thank you in advance."
And so, for three days in a row, Sasori brought food to the Kazekage. Having developed a taste for it, the Kazekage ate every last bite, completely unaware of the murderous intent filling Sasori's heart.
On the fourth day, the Kazekage was distracted as he worked. His mind was filled with thoughts of the food Sasori would soon bring. He could not calm himself at all, and even the documents before him seemed unusually tedious.
Something's wrong. Why am I so obsessed with food? The Kazekage sensed something amiss. Although Sunagakure was remote and he had not eaten many fine foods, that should not have affected his normal work. Could there be something wrong with the food Sasori brought? Suspicion stirred in his heart.
Unable to restrain himself any longer, he used the Body Flicker Technique to reach the kitchen. The cooks inside were all busy. Without making a sound, the Kazekage began searching for the big red flower Sasori had described, but found nothing.
*What's going on? Is that flower only
