Anyo followed Sasori toward Sunagakure. After entering the familiar Small Town, he could not resist the itch to gamble a few rounds, and came out after winning a little money.
Sasori, however, asked in surprise, "What, Kurotsuchi, are you short on money?"
Anyo smiled wryly. "More than short. I owe quite a bit."
Thirty million plus three years of interest meant he owed Kakuzu a full sixty million. If it kept compounding, who knew how much he would end up owing.
Sasori casually pulled out a handful of bills. "Tell me if you need money. I've got money. Once we get to Sunagakure, I'll give you all of it."
To Sasori, money was no different from wastepaper. Besides inheriting his parents' estate, he was doted on by Grandmother Chiyo, making him decidedly wealthy by Sunagakure's standards.
