With Anyo giving him a way out, Minato returned to the spectators without a word.
Kakashi fell silent for a moment, feeling that his suspicion was too far-fetched. After another glance at Minato's retreating back, he returned to the second floor to watch.
Genma Shiranui announced the next match: "Megatron versus Kiba Inuzuka."
Looking at Anyo, who had already entered the arena, Kiba felt nervous. Takigakure's first two masked genin had performed outrageously well. This third one surely couldn't be weak either. Can I win?
The puppy tucked inside the front of Kiba's jacket seemed to sense his thoughts and barked twice.
The barking snapped Kiba out of his thoughts. He stroked the dog's head and said, "Right, Akamaru. Thanks for reminding me. The fight hasn't even started. How can I lose confidence already? Whoever our opponent is, we'll fight side by side. We can definitely win."
"Woof, woof." Akamaru barked twice again, as though saying, That's the spirit.
Entering the arena, Kiba set Akamaru on the ground and took an attacking stance.
Somewhat amused,
