Anyo grieved Sakumo Hatake, killed Heiye, and served his sentence while building ties with Tsunade, Minato, and the Uchiha. After escaping to help Sasori kill the Third Kazekage, Anyo began organizing people with special abilities in Takigakure, recruiting Kakuzu as rumors of a gold mine drew desperadoes toward them.

• Anyo reunited with Mei Terumi in Kirigakure, promised to return for her, then brought Haku to Konoha and learned that Sakumo Hatake had died by suicide.
• Anyo grieved at Sakumo’s grave, awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan, and killed Heiye in a duel before the village sentenced him to three years in prison.
• Anyo escaped through a tunnel to Orochimaru’s base, worked with him on experiments, and later received visits from Kurenai, Shinku, and Uchiha Mikoto.
• Anyo resisted Fugaku’s attempt to probe his memories, defeated him, and was transferred by Tsunade to a guarded mansion where he continued his research and met Minato.

Anyo founded the Zero Organization, returned to Konoha, and became entangled in the chunin exams and the coming war. Reinstated as an Anbu captain, he fought the Tsuchikage and rescued Tsunade, then left the battlefield amid a clash between Iwagakure and Kirigakure.

• Anyo founded Zero with Kakuzu and Sasori after recruiting more than a hundred bounty hunters, while Tsunade impersonated him and uncovered Orochimaru’s forbidden experiments.
• Anyo helped Orochimaru escape Konoha, then returned and agreed to cooperate with him before reconnecting with Konan, who returned to Amegakure as a Konoha informant.
• Anyo judged the chunin exams, discovered Rin’s Spirit Control Technique, and arranged an outing where Kurenai Yuhi kissed him and asked if he would marry her.
• As war spread, the Third Hokage reinstated Anyo as Anbu Captain Night and sent him to Minato’s Iwagakure front, where Anyo assembled a team including Yugao, Haku, Shisui, and Inoichi.
• Anyo battled the Tsuchikage and helped force Iwagakure to retreat, then developed new sword techniques while recovering and Tsunade joined the battlefield with Konoha’s medical team.

Anyo built the Zero Organization’s influence, acquired the Supreme Edge, and recruited Mabui while preparing for another war. He helped Konoha fight Kumogakure, then received Sasori’s newly empowered Third Kazekage puppet as the conflict settled into a prolonged struggle.

• Anyo rescued Haku with Susanoo and Reversal, then welcomed her into the Zero Organization as Megatron’s Queen while the group captured ninja and expanded its reach.
• After the war’s defeat, Anyo promised to marry Tsunade, left to pursue a weapon, and accepted Orochimaru’s intelligence and a silver saber he named the Unintentional Blade.
• Anyo commissioned the Supreme Edge in the Land of Crafts, defeated Killer B in a sword fight, and recruited Mabui as the Zero Organization’s Secretary.
• Anyo returned to Konoha, treated wounded patients with Shizune, and trained Yugao, Haku, and Shisui while Itachi watched.
• The Third Hokage assigned Anyo to the Kumogakure front, where Anyo saved Fugaku and fought the Raikage before helping Konoha retreat.

Anyo infiltrated Sunagakure and manipulated its leaders into attacking Konoha, then helped Konoha repel the invasion and force a ceasefire. After the battle, he dealt with strained relationships and Danzo’s secret research while training Haku and Yugao.

• Anyo impersonated the Third Kazekage and returned to Sunagakure with Sasori and Mabui, where he convinced the leaders to prepare an attack on Konoha.
• Anyo split Sasori’s soul so Sasori could control the Kazekage puppet, then gathered intelligence and recruited Hanzō into Zero.
• The Third Hokage and Tsunade prepared Konoha for the coordinated attacks by Sunagakure and Iwagakure, while Rasa led Sunagakure against Kikyo Mountain.
• Anyo attacked Rasa and Chiyo during the first assault, but Sunagakure later summoned Shukaku and drove Konoha’s forces back toward the village.
• Rasa’s puppets breached Konoha’s defenses and spread poison, but the Aburame Clan’s insects checked the mist as Tsunade healed the wounded and the Sand Ninja pushed into the village.
• Anyo’s clones defended Konoha’s fighters, and Anyo persuaded Chiyo to withdraw while the Third Hokage contained Shukaku and negotiated a ceasefire with Rasa.
• After the memorial, Anyo spent the night with Tsunade, reconciled with Kurenai after confronting Asuma, and learned from Shinku that Danzo was researching Wood Release with the First Hokage’s cells.
• Anyo trained Yugao and Haku, helping Haku develop Ice Release techniques and considering how her abilities could counter the Third Raikage.
