Uchiha Convenience Services became a hit

Over the next few days, Uchiha Rìtiān was busy preparing his "Grand Plan."

The Konoha Military Police Force had been established, but the villagers' attitude toward the Uchiha was growing increasingly complicated.

There was plenty of awe, but little warmth.

Quite a few people even kept their distance whenever they saw members of the Uchiha Clan.

This couldn't go on.

Uchiha Rìtiān decided to change all of this in his own way.

Early that morning, Konoha's villagers noticed something strange.

Several people wearing Uchiha Clan Uniforms appeared on the street, pushing a small cart.

A sign hung from the cart: "Uchiha Convenience Services Station."

"Hey, what's this?"

"No idea. Something the Uchiha are doing?"

"Convenience services? What's that supposed to mean?"

The villagers watched from a distance, none daring to approach.

On the cart, a young Uchiha man cleared his throat and called out:

"Folks, we're from the Konoha Military Police Force!"

"Starting today, our Uchiha Clan is launching a 'convenience services' program!"

"We'll repair your houses, plumbing, and appliances for free, and provide free medical care too!"

An uproar swept through the crowd.

"Free house repairs? Seriously?"

"They can treat people too? The Uchiha know how to do that?"

"Could this be a scam?"

As everyone was discussing it, an old woman approached with a walking stick.

"Young man, can you really fix things for free?"

"Of course!" the young Uchiha said with a smile. "Ma'am, is something broken at your house?"

"My roof leaks. Can you fix that?"

"Yes! Of course we can!"

The young man waved, and two Uchiha Clan members followed the old woman to repair her house.

The villagers exchanged looks. They actually went?

Before long, the two clan members returned.

"Well? Did you fix it?" someone asked.

"All fixed!" one of them said with a smile. "There was a hole in her roof. We patched it with Earth Release. We guarantee it won't leak again!"

Just then, the old woman returned as well, carrying a basket of eggs.

"Oh, thank you so much!" The old woman's face was full of gratitude. "You're such good people!"

"No need to thank us, ma'am. It's what we should do!"

Now the villagers believed them.

It really was true!

"Then... my leg's bad. Could you take a look?" A middle-aged man approached.

"Yes! Of course!"

A female Uchiha Clan member came over and treated him with Medical Ninjutsu.

A short while later, the man cried out in delighted surprise.

"Huh? It doesn't hurt! My leg doesn't hurt anymore!"

Now the villagers were truly in an uproar.

"It really works! That's amazing!"

"I want treatment too! My back hurts!"

"My door's broken. Can you fix it?"

"My drain's clogged!"

In no time, the Uchiha Convenience Services Station was surrounded by an impenetrable crowd.

The Uchiha Clan members were rushed off their feet, but all of them wore smiles.

Before, when they walked down the street, everyone avoided them, looking at them as though they were monsters.

Now everyone gathered around them, thanking them and calling them good people.

This feeling... was wonderful.

Uchiha Rìtiān stood on the second floor a short distance away, watching the bustling scene below with the corners of his mouth lifted.

"Ding! 'Improve the Uchiha's image' mission progress: 30%"

Uchiha Rìtiān nodded in satisfaction. Not bad. Things were off to a good start.

This was his plan-to use "convenience services" to change the villagers' impression of the Uchiha.

What impression had the Uchiha given people before?

Arrogant, cold, and unapproachable.

Then he would have the Uchiha Clan members get out there and help the villagers solve practical problems.

The first time or two, people might still be suspicious.

But over time, they would naturally change their view of the Uchiha.

This was called... the popular support strategy.

"Young master, you're amazing!" Tetsuo stood beside him, his face full of admiration. "How did you come up with this?"

"Just the basics." Uchiha Rìtiān waved a hand, looking utterly nonchalant.

"Ding! Successful show-off. Show-Off Points +50!"

Tetsuo admired him even more. The young master really was something else. He was incredible!

Just then, Shisui arrived too.

"Rìtiān, is this the method you mentioned?" Shisui looked at the scene below, his face full of shock.

"What do you think? Not bad, right?" Uchiha Rìtiān said with a smile.

"Not bad doesn't begin to cover it!" Shisui said excitedly. "It's amazing! Rìtiān, you're a genius!"

"Hehe, you're too kind, Shisui." Uchiha Rìtiān felt a little embarrassed by the praise.

As Shisui watched the harmonious scene below, a flicker of emotion crossed his eyes.

He had been working hard to improve relations between the Uchiha and Konoha.

But his efforts seemed to have had little effect.

He hadn't expected Uchiha Rìtiān to use this approach to accomplish what he had always wanted to do but couldn't.

"Rìtiān, thank you," Shisui said earnestly.

Uchiha Rìtiān paused. "Shisui, there's no need for that between us."

"I'm a member of the Uchiha too."

Shisui smiled, his smile warm.

"That's right. We're all members of the Uchiha."

Over the next few days, Uchiha Convenience Services grew increasingly popular.

From the initial house repairs and medical care, it expanded to writing letters, looking after children, and even walking dogs...

There was nothing they couldn't do, only things you hadn't thought of.

The Konoha villagers' attitude toward the Uchiha underwent a complete reversal.

Before, they avoided any Uchiha they saw. Now, they greeted them warmly.

"Young Uchiha fellow, come in for a drink of water!"

"Young Uchiha lady, we just made these treats at home. Have a taste!"

The Uchiha Clan members were brimming with enthusiasm too, and every day felt fulfilling.

They discovered that being thanked and being needed felt this good.

Fugaku heard about it as well and praised it highly.

"That boy Rìtiān has really given me a wonderful surprise!"

The clan's elders all saw Uchiha Rìtiān in a new light too.

They used to think he neglected proper work and spent all day tinkering with clever trifles.

Only now did they realize that was business sense! That was caring for the people like his own children!

Uchiha Rìtiān's standing in the clan rose accordingly.

"Ding! 'Improve the Uchiha's image' mission progress: 80%"

Uchiha Rìtiān looked at the mission progress and nodded in satisfaction.

Just another 20%, and the mission would be complete!

Just then, the system suddenly sounded.

"Ding! Emergency detected: peripheral members of the Akatsuki have appeared near Konoha and are gathering intelligence."

"Option one: notify Konoha High Command and let them handle it. Reward: Konoha favorability +5."

"Option two: investigate personally and see what they're planning. Reward: intelligence +1, risk +high."

"Option three: stay out of matters that don't concern you. Reward: Will of Survival +1."

Uchiha Rìtiān's eyes lit up. Peripheral members of the Akatsuki?

Perfect. He had wanted to learn more about the Akatsuki anyway.

"I choose option two!"

"Ding! Selection successful. Gained intelligence +1."

The corners of Uchiha Rìtiān's mouth lifted into an excited smile.

The Akatsuki, huh?

Let me see what you've got!

He slipped silently out of Konoha and headed in the direction indicated by the system.

What he didn't know was that shortly after he left, a Root ninja reported his movements to Danzo.

After hearing the report, Danzo's lips curled into a sinister smile.

"Just as I thought... this brat has ties to the Akatsuki."

"Interesting. This just keeps getting more interesting."
