Shisui ambushed

Uchiha Rìtiān sprinted with all his strength toward Shisui's chakra.

Shisui gave a bitter smile. "The people who hurt me... were Danzo's men."

Uchiha Rìtiān shuddered.

Danzo's men?!

That scheming old bastard really had gone after Shisui!

"Why? Why did Danzo want to hurt you?" Uchiha Rìtiān asked through gritted teeth.

Shisui fell silent for a moment, then sighed.

"Because of... my eyes."

Uchiha Rìtiān's pupils contracted.

His eyes?

Kotoamatsukami!

Danzo wanted Shisui's Kotoamatsukami!

"That old bastard!" Uchiha Rìtiān punched the tree, smashing a dent straight into its trunk.

"Shisui, your eyes..."

"Don't worry. My eyes are fine." Shisui smiled. "I am Body Flicker Shisui, after all. Taking my eyes isn't that easy."

"It's just... they poisoned me, and my chakra isn't circulating properly."

Uchiha Rìtiān sighed in relief. As long as his eyes were fine.

"Shisui, let's leave here first and find somewhere safe."

Uchiha Rìtiān helped Shisui up and carefully led him away from the cliff.

He neither returned to the Uchiha Clan Compound nor went to the hospital.

It was well concealed and had medical equipment.

"Tetsuo, get the medical equipment ready!" Uchiha Rìtiān shouted.

Tetsuo was startled at the sight of Shisui covered in blood.

"Young master, what...?"

"Don't ask so many questions. Hurry!"

"Yes!"

The medical equipment was soon ready.

Uchiha Rìtiān personally treated Shisui's wound.

The corners of Uchiha Rìtiān's mouth rose into a mischievous grin.

Danzo, huh?

You dared hurt one of mine. You're finished.

"Don't worry, Shisui. I won't act rashly," Uchiha Rìtiān said with a smile.

Looking at Uchiha Rìtiān's smile, Shisui suddenly had an ominous feeling, though he didn't know why.

"What... what are you planning?"

"Nothing." Uchiha Rìtiān looked utterly innocent. "I just think Lord Danzo works so hard that we ought to send him a little 'gift.'"

Shisui's mouth twitched. He knew this kid was up to no good.

"Rìtiān, don't do anything reckless..."

"Don't worry, Shisui. I know my limits." Uchiha Rìtiān patted his chest. "I guarantee he won't find out I did it."

Shisui: "..."

Why did he feel even more worried now?

That night, at the Root Base.

Danzo was handling paperwork in his office.

Suddenly, a commotion came from outside the door.

"What's going on?" Danzo asked with a frown.

A Root Ninja rushed in, looking grim.

"Lord Danzo, something terrible has happened!"

"Our warehouse... something happened to the warehouse!"

Danzo sprang to his feet. "What happened?"

"The warehouse... everything inside it is gone!"

Danzo's pupils contracted. "What?!"

He immediately headed for the warehouse.

When he arrived and looked inside, Danzo nearly coughed up blood in fury.

The enormous warehouse was completely empty.

All the ninja tools, supplies, and even the food... were gone!

It was as though someone had cleaned it out!

"What happened?! Who did this?!" Danzo roared.

"W-we don't know..." the ninja guarding the warehouse said fearfully. "We've been here the whole time. We never saw anyone come in..."

"Useless! A bunch of useless fools!" Danzo shook with rage.

Such a huge warehouse, with so many things inside, had actually been emptied without anyone noticing?

How was that possible?!

"Investigate! Find out!" Danzo said through gritted teeth. "You will find this thief!"

"Yes!"

Danzo stood in the empty warehouse with a dark expression.

His gaze was as sinister as a venomous snake's.

"You dared touch my belongings..."

"I don't care who you are. I will drag you out!"

"And when I do, I'll make you wish you were dead!"

Meanwhile, at Uchiha Rìtiān's Secret Base.

Looking at the supplies filling the entire courtyard, Uchiha Rìtiān grinned from ear to ear.

"We're rich! We're rich!"

"That scheming old bastard Danzo is pretty wealthy!"

Tetsuo stood nearby, dumbfounded.

"Y-young master, was all this... stolen from Root?"

"Stolen? That sounds awful." Uchiha Rìtiān waved a hand. "This is robbing the rich to help the poor!"

"That scheming old bastard Danzo has squeezed so much out of the people. I'm delivering justice on heaven's behalf!"

Tetsuo: "..."

The young master makes so much sense that I have no response.

"Ding! Root warehouse successfully looted!"

"Various supplies obtained. Show-Off Points +300!"

"Achievement unlocked: Gentleman of the Rafters. Effect: stealth ability +10%."

Uchiha Rìtiān was delighted. This had been a massive haul!

He had vented his anger and gotten rich-two birds with one stone!

"By the way, young master, how is Shisui?" Tetsuo asked.

"He's asleep now. Nothing serious," Uchiha Rìtiān said with a smile. "He just needs a few days of rest."

"That's good." Tetsuo sighed in relief.

Uchiha Rìtiān walked to the window and looked out at the moonlight.

Danzo, this is just a little interest.

Sooner or later, I'll make you repay what you owe Shisui twice over.

Just then, the system notification sounded.

"Ding! Escalation of the Shisui ambush incident detected."

"Warning: Danzo will not let this go. He will definitely attack Shisui again."
