Hinatsuru's figure suddenly appeared at the foot of the stairs beneath the attic.
Shinazugawa's eye twitched. "I know you. You're..."
Hinatsuru hurriedly said, "Mr. Shinazugawa, let's go upstairs to talk."
Shinobu Kocho nodded. "All right, Miss Oiran."
With that, Shinobu Kocho poked Shinazugawa with the hilt of her Nichirin Blade, signaling for him to mind his manners.
The two followed Hinatsuru to her bedroom.
The moment she entered, Shinobu Kocho caught a faint scent of wisteria.
Almost instantly, Shinobu Kocho realized what it was!
"Su Chen!" Shinobu Kocho's expression changed. This was Su Chen's scent. "Has Su Chen been here?!"
Surprise appeared on Hinatsuru's face. She hadn't even said anything yet. How had the Insect Hashira guessed?
Shinazugawa also asked, "Have you seen Su Chen?"
Hearing this, Hinatsuru couldn't help marveling at how popular Lord Su Chen was. She hadn't even opened her mouth yet.
Yet here they were, both rushing to ask about Lord Su Chen's whereabouts. It seemed Lord Su Chen really was incredibly charismatic.
Hinatsuru smiled and said, "Yes, Lady Insect Hashira, Lord Wind Hashira. Lord Dragon Hashira was here earlier, and..."
Before she could finish, Shinobu Kocho immediately interrupted her.
"Where is Su Chen now?" Shinobu Kocho asked urgently.
She could no longer maintain her smile. Although she surmised that Su Chen should be safe, worry clouded her judgment!

Hinatsuru answered Shinobu Kocho's question. "Lord Tengen and I bought Lord Su Chen boat and train tickets back to the Butterfly Mansion.
