Once Shi Xuan had taken his seat, the True Lords and True Persons rose as usual to thank the Penglai Sect for its invitation, their tones exceptionally sincere. After all, the Momentary Forgetfulness Fruit was one of the few spiritual fruits of Heaven and Earth capable of helping cultivators temper their state of mind, and it greatly aided the cultivation of one's Dao heart. The third and fourth Heavenly Tribulations, as well as the second through fifth Decay Tribulations, all imposed requirements upon one's Dao heart. Without a sufficient Dao heart, one could not touch the Divine Marrow of the Great Dao, control the Primordial Spirit, sense the passage of time within a Grotto-Heaven, and so on.

The Three Tribulation Yang Spirits were even more grateful. Xu Yu, Shu Xiaotian, Qiao Mubai, Guiyuanzi, King Qin Guang, Wu Yue'e, and the others had been stuck at the threshold of touching the Divine Marrow of the Great Dao for a long time. Shu Xiaotian, in particular, had benefited from the opening of Yuyu Heaven and gathered quite a few delaying secret arts, yet there were only a little over a thousand years left before the fourth Heavenly Tribulation inevitably descended. He was about to follow in Yama Heavenly Son's footsteps.

Thus, when they had the chance to taste a spiritual fruit of Heaven and Earth like the Momentary Forgetfulness Fruit, which allowed cultivators to directly comprehend the Great Dao, even if it was not the path they themselves needed, another mountain's stone could still polish one's jade. Gratitude welled up naturally within them.

As for the Three Tribulation Heavenly Sovereigns, what they valued more was using the Momentary Forgetfulness Fruit to temper their Dao hearts and sense the passage of time.
