Rudeus felt somewhat heavyhearted. It was obvious that this self-proclaimed Hitogami before him wanted to use him to do something.
Should I refuse?
No, it doesn't look like I have any room to refuse. Whatever happens, this guy is going to finish what he has to say.
Having made up his mind, Rudeus asked Hitogami:
"Before that, can I ask a question?"
"A question? Of course, Rudeus!"
Hitogami looked at Rudeus with a beaming smile.
"Is this the afterlife? Are Eris, Ghislaine, and Rad all right?"
Rudeus gestured at the pure white space.
"No, you're still alive, not dead. What's currently in this space is your spirit. This is your dream!"
"And Ghislaine and Eris are both fine at the moment, but who's this Rad you mentioned?"
Hitogami explained everything to Rudeus one point at a time, but when it came to Rad, he was somewhat bewildered too, not knowing who Rudeus meant.

"That's a relief, then. I just misspoke earlier. Rad is my doll. Anyway, what's your advice?"
Rudeus breathed a sigh of relief. As long as he wasn't dead, that was enough. He could only take everything else one step at a time.
Hitogami scratched his head and began giving his advice.
"Then listen carefully, Rudeus. When you wake up, you'll find yourself on the Demon Continent. It's an extremely dangerous place, teeming with monsters and short on supplies. There will be a man beside you. Make sure you stick close to him and rely on him, and you must help him too!"
