Following Chi Shuran's instructions, Chi An went to find Zhou Zhichu, but he did not need any help. He did, however, say he did not know how to deal with the crabs for lunch.
The pot was not big enough to cook them whole, and cooking two or three at a time would take too long, so Zhou Zhichu wanted him to take Fu Yanci along to prepare the crabs.
Chi An nodded without saying anything and pulled Fu Yanci back to the cooking area. Ren Wuyang's speargun was almost finished and would be ready to use that afternoon.
"These crabs barely have any meat, and their shells are hard. Just strip off the shells and keep the parts with meat." Fu Yanci eyed the crabs in the bucket disdainfully, casually picked one up, and got straight to work.

Fu Yanci said, "Want to knock it out first? Boiling it alive is no different from shelling it alive. Rather than boiling it to death, I might as well make it quick."
Chi An was speechless. Fu Yanci seemed to have a point. Suddenly, he felt as though he had been a cold-blooded killer every time he had steamed crabs before.
[Isn't Fu Yanci way too brutal? Shelling them alive and boiling them are both cruel, aren't they? Do you absolutely have to eat them?]
[Your Honor, how about we eat you instead? Never mind, I'm afraid eating you would lower my IQ.]
[Where did this living saint come from? Has your family never eaten crab? Have you eaten pork? Vegetables? Surely you've eaten rice? They're alive too. Why do you eat them?]
