Led by a staff member, the group stopped in front of a small Western-style house.

Standing at the back of the group, Lin Yuxuan and Gu Zijin reacted swiftly, stepping forward to help Mr. Xu set the wok securely on the stove.

"Wow, that's such a huge wok!" Ren Anwen walked up curiously to look at it, surprise written across her face.

"You bet!"

"Hahaha! A good wok for good food. You're in for a treat tonight! Consider it my way of making up for this afternoon!" Mr. Xu explained with a laugh, wiping his forehead.

"Hurry upstairs and unpack first. There are four rooms on the third floor. By the time you're settled, it'll be just about time to come down for dinner."

Lin Yuxuan said, "Sure!"

Neither he nor Gu Zijin saw any problem with that. They picked up their suitcases and prepared to head upstairs, but while they were looking down for their luggage, something suddenly darted past them, followed by cries of surprise all around.

Chi Shuran clutched her head in terror, remembering to shuffle a few steps back. "Oh my god! Someone's jumping out of the building!"

"Bro! Calm down!" Lin Yuxuan wanted to run over and catch him, but was afraid he would end up underneath him and they would both crash to the ground.

"Sis, don't worry. He won't fall to his death. I've already analyzed it. His athletic talent is off the charts. It's only the second floor-just a high jump." Patting Ren Anwen's shoulder reassuringly, Ren Wuyang dragged his suitcase over to Song Wenjing.

"Wenjing, shall we share a room? Your brother doesn't want you anymore, and my sister doesn't want me either."
