Day six-
Before he was even awake, the phone beside his pillow kept vibrating. Frowning, Chi An felt around beside his pillow, then squinted at the phone once he found it and held it to his ear.
"Hello."
"Mm, got it."
After putting down his phone and dozing a little longer, Chi An finally got up slowly, picked up his phone, and checked it again.
Great. Just great. Wonderful, truly wonderful. So indescribably wonderful that it left him speechless.
A little past six. What kind of company tortured people like this? If the employees couldn't even get proper rest, how were they supposed to feel like putting in an honest day's work?! He'd better not come across a company like that. He might just lose his mind and buy it outright!
Turning to look at Fu Yanci, who was still sound asleep, Chi An stared at him for a while, then raised his hand and brought it down.

"Fuck!" A searing pain shot through Fu Yanci's arm. Clutching it, he instantly sat up and stared at Chi An in bewilderment. "Wait, babe, I wasn't snoring, I didn't steal the covers, and I didn't kick you. What did I do wrong this time?"
"Get up. Time to work. The stuff's here. We need to go over to the village chief's." Chi An slowly got out of bed to change, tossing the clothes on the table to Fu Yanci while he was at it. "Hurry up, and we can get some more sleep when we're back."
